I Love the way they teach. Teachers meet kids where they are. Great school overall!

I’m in the 5th grade at this school and it’s amazing! Lunch is 😍 Teachers are 😊 Shoutout to Ms.Stephens, Ms.Smidthsrod, Mr.Glotzer, Couch Rouch, Mr Reynolds, and Ms.Bobo for being there for the school. I recommend sending your child to this school if you want them to have education:) Except for a few problems I want to complain about 1.No door in girls bathroom, I get that 1-3rd is playing in the bathroom but it’s just aggravating that everyone else has to deal with it. 2.People have no respect! The teachers treat us like high schoolers but we aren’t we are elementary kids😒 3.No programs, they were supposed to add, cheerleading,dance, and school patrol but never did.

Awesome school! Great staff. Small school which is great when u compare to other schools. Carloop is extremely fast. In this school my daughter has learned so much in 1 year as they touch on so many subjects n they are extremely hands on meaning they do so many stem projects.i have a friend who works in the cafeteria and tells me the kids are so well behaved,compared to other schools where kids are out of control. Hands down best decision I have made for my kids. Carloop is almost always done in ten minutes due to how small the school is. In the morning teachers always call my kids by their first name as they open my car door! When my daughter was at a much bigger school down the street she was always coming home asking me about colorism as she is mixed. Since we switched schools not once has she mentioned color only the things she learned in school such as different projects etc. My kids are no longer just a number at somerset due to how small school is.in our old school there was too many problems with mixing small children in bathrooms with middle schoolers due to bullying n inappropriate things happening for that reason as soon as my son was at school age I found somerset n switched!

I highly recommend this school!! I moved my son a month ago because he wasn’t getting the education he needs and deserves. In just this one month I have seen so much improvement! He wants to learn and he is excited to learn. He even told me he feels like he is learning more at this school, which is great. The teaching, the supporting for their growth, the communication, and nourishing them for their future is some things you can tell the school is very passionate about and I’m glad my son gets to be apart of it. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for my son with this school and my daughter will be starting at the middle/high in the fall.
