Rain River is an amazing facility. I should know, as I worked there, and have now sent three of my own kids to be in their care. Lindsay Morris, the owner, is a tireless and fearless leader. She has an amazing work ethic and inspirational dedication to families and children in Saint Augustine and beyond. While there are always issues when it comes to day care and preschool, at ANY facility, Lindsay attends to these issues with great care.

Thank you to rain river learning center for providing a safe, clean environment that our whole family loves. Our child has grown exponentially socially and intellectually being at this school.. She isn’t even 2 years old yet and has learned so many amazing things to include using full sentences, counting, singing all the nursery rhymes, etc. We get pictures, videos, updates on food and diaper changes daily and love feeling so included in our daughter’s day. Lindsay, owner and director, is the sweetest human being and truly cares about the families that attend this facility. Our daughter (and my husband and I) love all of the rain river learning center family. **Update for an honest review for parents considering this school** Our child was there since 17 months old and we pulled her at almost 4 years old. Hence the above review. I did not want to delete that review just to show how much drastically went downhill. Not sure if the school just took on much more than it could handle or.. no idea what happened. Anyway, our child came to us and told us she was afraid of boys now because she was being hit and bitten at school. Turns out this was true, our daughter was traumatized and is still afraid of boys, and the school knew this was going on. We were never notified and we were told they do not notify parents OR make a report unless a mark is left. When confronting the director, we were told there is a child who is “handsy” in the class. Our child being our pride and joy, imagine how you feel as a parent knowing that she’s been terrified and you weren’t even NOTIFIED by a place you trust. Completely unacceptable. Pulled her out the next day. It’s a shame because she loved the kiddos she became friends with and loved going to school. Hopefully it improves, but just wanted to share an honest experience that we were floored by. Especially after being there since almost the opening of the school. Waited to edit this review for 6 months because I wanted to give some time for us to cool down, but turns out that’ll never happen knowing your child was being hurt without you knowing.

We have been exceptionally happy with this center for our little one. My 4 year old not only has so much fun, but is also learning so much - she is already reading many sight words, sounding out words she doesn't yet know, has learned some sign language, and is always talking about what she learned and how much fun she had every day. I can tell the teachers truly care for my child and it is heartwarming to hear them tell my daughter "we're so glad you're here today!" when I drop her off.

Lindsay, owner of Rain River Learning Center, is a hard working, fantastic leader who has cultivated a caring, nurturing culture among her employees. I highly recommend this center!

We have finally found a preschool that feels like family! Lindsay and her team are absolutely the best, my little one gets so excited to go and is learning so much! As a parent it is such a relief knowing your child is well taken care of and happy in their environment. I highly recommend Rain River Learning Center.

Wonderful facility with warm genuinely loving staff.

This place is an absolute scam. The "Director" Lindsay is a joke. I have 5 children age ranged from 12 to 11 months and I have plenty of experience with daycares and I have NEVER seen anything like this. My children went there for several months. At first it was great.. like 2 weeks then the games started.. calling me 3 to 4 times a week at work to come get my children because "he has a runny nose" (9 month olds teeth which causes sinus drainage completely normal) "this one is acting funny" legit an actual reason I had to get my kids. I swear I took my children to the pediatrician 17 times in one month because of that retched daycare claiming my children were sick when their DOCTOR said they are absolutely perfectly healthy and happy normal babies. This woman would literally harass my children with a thermometer following them around and checking them what seemed like every 30 minutes.. if their temperature got above 98.7 I was getting a call.. (by the way I was a paramedic and I know when my children are sick and typically would take steps to keep them home in such events but babies teeth and the reality is teething can cause temperatures of over 100° sustained for 2 to 3 hours but this lady with ZERO MEDICAL EXPERIENCE said she knew better than my children's doctor.) This went on for several months. And here's the scam part.. she continued to charge us for those days. Even charged us for days she specifically said they couldn't come to school. Continued to charge us and even went so far as to say that if we didn't pay for days they didn't attend the children would lose their spot and we'd have to look elsewhere. I had a reliable daycare and moved to this place because it appeared to be better. HUGE MISTAKE. DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE. All the other reviewes are her friends trust me. This review is just the start. I will be filing official complaints with BBB and other agencies as well as requesting an official investigation by the early learning coalition in hopes I may protect another family from being scammed by Lindsay. She knew having twins was a challenge for us to find daycare in the area and yet she continuously played the power trip and taking our money and sending my children home attempting to make it look like they were sick when in reality there was nothing wrong with them. You have been warned...

I love this daycare so much ! Best place to send your child üíú. Clean and your they giving great care of your child

My grandchildren attend Rain River and we couldn't be more pleased. The facility is clean, bright and cheerful and the staff is so kind and patient. Glad we found such a happy place for the kids!

My Granddaughter attends this school and it is amazing!
