Pons’ Too in Panama City, Florida has been a long-standing daycare facility that has experienced both peaks and valleys in its service quality over the years. The center provides basic childcare services in a traditional setting, though recent reviews suggest inconsistent experiences with staff engagement and facility management. The establishment maintains regular weekday operations with varying closing times, serving families in the local community while offering standard daycare amenities and activities for young children.

went here as a kid and i am very happy with my child hood
This place is the absolute most unprofessional place I've ever dealt with. From the first day, my daughter started the head Director and staff did not seem very kid friendly And has zero compassion towards children. The building is unsecure and every time you walk in nobody is at the front desk. They claim to pride themselves on taking care of children yet are too busy on Facebook during their shift to watch the children I'm sure that's why so many children get hurt on their watch. They are also not mature enough to talk and don't have answers for any questions you ask them about anything. Highly dont recommend the facility it's not safe or professional by any means there's a reason they have so many openings
This facility has zero compassion for the children in their care. They have ostracized my son from the moment he was enrolled in that dump. The renaissance years of Pons have clearly came to an end and they are in the full blown dark ages. From the first five minutes I encountered the senile owner Claire who stated I should “do better” regarding my child to the scandal regarding a child being assaulted by one of their former employees… (an employee told me to google the charges) My son (who is 2) had a tantrum. Shocking? Hardly.. considering his age. He has came home famished and dying of thirst more times than I can count. It’s absolutely disgraceful but expected when the owner is only concerned with damage control regarding their now badly tarnished reputation and her poorly executed botulinum injections. Take your money or the state’s money elsewhere. They should be shut down.
The owner has always been very nice to us.
All 3 of my kids attended this daycare for 9 years total and collectively my wife and I have spent 10s of thousands at this place. Until recently we have had a great experience but the last year has been a struggle. They have changed their hours and it isn’t consistent. We’ve showed up multiple times to find that they had closed for the day and we had to find other people last minute to keep our little one. Recently my wife was 11 minutes late on a Friday due to a wreck on 23rd street (which they close 30 minutes earlier on Friday than any other day of the week) and they charged her $100. After spending over 50k with them over the last 9 years you would think we would have been shown a little grace but it only shows how “money hungry” people have become lately. I spoke with Ms Clair and she was happy for us to leave which threw me off guard considering how she has treated my family and I in the past. We always paid our payment and we have never owed them anything. Up until last year I would have highly recommended this daycare but as of late it has turned into a nightmare for us as parents. Hope this helps your decision when picking your daycare.
This daycare is absolute trash. My son got kicked out today over a potty accident. Something no kid can control, specially when he just turned 3. Me nor his father was ever told of any issues regarding our son. Never had any warnings, nothing. And kicked him out, spoke bad about my son, and then the owner wasn’t even mature enough to hold a conversation with me to try and figure things out. I have to work and provide for my children and now Idk what I am going to do for getting my son into another daycare. The way the owner spoke to me and of my son, she deserves to be shut down. And I will be reporting this daycare. I will see to it that you get shut down for being so rude and not willing to do what you where paid for and for kicking my son out over something so pathetic.
I loveee this daycare, for my daughter stayyssss sick, I don’t know if it’s because they clean, somewhat poorly or what, but it’s kinda getting outta hand now. I definitely recommend this daycare. Best in Panama City. Do plan on your little one getting sick a lot though.
My daughter has been going there since she was 18 months now is 3.5. No daycare will ever be perfect for our kids lets face it but ive been pleased with the facility. Alexa has learned so much and loves going.
I went for a tour today after speaking to Beth on the phone. Beth was great. When we arrived we were greeated by Jennifer and she was nothing but rude. Walking into the facility it was not secure and no one was up front (Jennifer greeted us through the play area.) they hand candles burning which is kinds scary. If a worker greets an adult that rude imagine how she is with your children. We will not be enrolling here!
