He started off in the infant room and has just transitioned to the next room up . Our first impression of the daycare was what sold us. Miss Adrianne took us on a tour and was very thorough with all the information we needed to make our decision . They keep it very clean and I’ve seen them multiple occasions deep cleaning rooms top to bottom. As a first time parent , it can be tough sending your little one to daycare but the staff made it so easy for our family. I can’t speak highly enough about Island kids! I was nervous to put my twins into a daycare center since they were preemies and have only ever stayed home with me, but I know we truly made the right choice enrolling them into Island kids Child Care Center ! The center is well organized, very clean, and their curriculum is amazing across all age groups. We love that they offer educational play in all of the classrooms, include outdoor play for gross/motor development, and that their staff takes the time to build personal relationships with each child and family. The teachers at Island Kids have been nothing but amazing with our twins and we love that they look forward to going to daycare everyday! Before my twins started daycare they weren’t able to connect sentences quite yet, were not very social, and had a hard time in new environments. Their personalities and vocabulary has expanded so much because of their amazing curriculum! Now they are talking in full sentences, singing, know their colors,shapes, alphabet, they are very social now and we can really tell how comfortable they are at the center and with their teachers in general. I also really love that they use an app where parents at all times know where their child is, who they are with, and what they are doing! It’s so reassuring that they send constant photos/videos, write little updates about how their day is going, log their meals and nap times, etc! I highly recommend this daycare center!

As switching from another island ran daycare we are extremely pleased in the growth we have seen in our three year old. Within weeks she was speaking more and enjoying herself daily. Along with the soccer shots that comes to the school she looks forward to Mondays there. All the staff and directors are great and full of knowledge. Safety is huge with kiddos they follow NYS ratios which is huge compared to the other daycare we were previously at.
Highly recommended! The staff is amazing, always super friendly and helpful. The school focuses on all areas of childhood development, academic, social, and physical. Couldn't be happier!
Island kids has been great with my little guy! Every staff member greets you with a smiling face and takes great care of all the kids. They update the app and it helps me keep track of what my baby is eating and doing throughout the day. Great for a first time mom!
Our Son & Daughter both go here, and we love it! They were 8 months & 2.5 y/o when we first started with Island Kids. Their first day I cried so hard and was nervous to leave them with people we did not know but the tears quickly faded! They keep you updated through their app with notes and pictures about their day. It is great to see all the activities and fun they are having. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming! They greet the kids with smiles and hugs and will touch base with you at the start and end of the day about how your son/daughter are doing. The building/classrooms are spacious and clean, lots of toys and activity centers set up. The have an indoor gym and 2 outdoor play areas, which are very nice! They also have a small library. Our daughter has a disability and they have been amazing with the medication management of her condition! Great communication/documentation and care every time she is there. I feel 100% confident when she is there that she is going to be well cared for and the school will reach out with any concerns or questions. I cannot thank Ms. Krystal enough for all the extra love and help she gives our daughter. Ms. Cathy as well! In addition to their already difficult & demanding jobs they go the extra mile for our daughter so she can attend school and have fun with all the kiddos. Ms. Cathy was also my sons first daycare teacher, and I could not have asked for a more loving and nurturing person to care for our baby as I went back to work! She is always so excited to see him, and he was slow to warm up to daycare but always enjoys seeing Ms. Cathy! All the staff are truly wonderful, you will get to know them all by name¬†üòä. My daughter runs through the halls there so excited to say hi or bye and all the staff know her and are very engaging and fun with her.¬†Thank you!! We are beyond grateful that we found/chose this daycare center.
Absolutely love island kids! The staff is amazing and very accommodating and responsive. We get continued updates thought the day of how our kids are doing and that is super helpful. Would definitely recommend!
We started bringing our kiddos to Island Kids (the South location) 2.5 years ago, when our littlest was only 3 months old. It was our first experience with a daycare, and we've been spoiled, to say the least. We've always felt incredibly welcomed, and our kiddos have thrived. The staff + teachers are incredible, communication is great, and the kids have an absolute blast with all of the activities planned and friends they've made!
