Montessori Academy of Broward in Pembroke Pines, Florida, is a well-established daycare facility offering programs from infant care through elementary education in a bright, spacious environment. The facility follows Montessori teaching methods with a curriculum that appears particularly strong for toddlers and preschoolers, featuring daily enrichment activities like music, art, and physical education. While the school maintains a dedicated community atmosphere with long-serving staff members, its amenities are basic with standard classrooms and a cafeteria setup that might leave some parents wanting more specialized learning spaces.

Author: Juliana Aldana Rating: 2/5 Date: 8/22/2024, 1:11:14 PM Review: My daughter was enrolled in this school since she was 3 years old and now that she switched to a different school I realized that she missed so many experiences and activities! Their curriculum was good for toddlers and little kids but once they go to first grade or so they use a normal/free curriculum, they do not anything different that classrooms and a cafeteria (no art room, no media room, no outdoor fields , nothing). As a parent paying around $11,000 yearly for tuition I expect a better curriculum which they do NOT have, otherwise I would not pay for tuition. Additionally, they are very money hungry as this school. As of now they never wanted me to release my daughter's grades and test scores because they wanted me to pay for 2024 registration even though I did let them know my daughter was not coming back to this school in March 2024, so they had plenty of time to fill up the spot (according to the they have a waiting list every year), but instead of having in mind that I have paid them over 70k in tuition in the last 6 years they chose not to release the grades. (they said registration was non refundable) and they want me to pay $400, it looks like $400 make a big difference on their monthly income. BEFORE ENROLLING YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL LOOK AT THE CURRICULUM AND COMPARE IT TO OTHER SCHOOLS , LOOK AT THE ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES (THEY DONT HAVE MUCH) YOUR MONEY MIGHT NOT BE WORTH IT, THEY DO NOT HAVE THE BEST TEACHERS NEITHER. I KNOW SEVERAL PARENTS WHICH MOVED THEIR KIDS FROMS THIS SCHOOL LAST YEAR.

It is amazingly awesome the teachers are all kind Even if it’s are PE music and all the others
My son started this January with 2 1/2 and I don't have words to describe how happy we are with this school. His teacher Ms Desi , and Ms Miriam and Ms Beatriz are amazing and in general the whole school staff is really nice. His teacher is the most passionate and creative I have ever meet. They treat him with so much love that we couldn't be more happier. I truly recommend MAB at least from my experience with a toddler.

Grade level/Elementary teachers are not certified degree teachers,, If you don’t believe me ask for proof when you take a tour . They Lie about everything to reel you in . So sad it use to be a good school 10 years ago , when education matter not Money.
We are very pleased with Montessori Academy of Broward. We started in January 2022 with my daughter in the infant program and my son in young Montessorian program. The infant room is big and open with lots of natural light, but the teachers are my favorite part of the infant room. Ms. Nereida has been there for many years and cares tremendously for all the babies. Ms. Mildred is so loving and affectionate. My daughter took a strong liking to Ms. Mildred and everyday at drop off she would crawl/run into Ms. Mildred's arms. It made leaving and going to work so easy knowing that she was so happy and well cared for. She has now moved to the next level class with Ms. Maria and is loving her as well. My son, in the young Montessorian program, was with Ms. Janeen. Ms. Janeen was a breathe of fresh air from the previous daycare programs he was in. She provided updates on his progress, and was patient through his adjustment period. I had never seen my son so happy to go to school everyday. He is now in the Pre-K program with Ms. Veronica and is thriving there as well. Ms. Monica and the office staff have been so kind and helpful as well.
