Academy of Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida has been serving local families with childcare services for many years, with varying experiences reported by parents over time. The facility maintains daily records of activities like feeding and diaper changes, and staff members are typically present for early morning drop-offs to accommodate working parents’ schedules. While management and staff turnover have created some inconsistency in service quality, the center continues to operate with standard daycare protocols and safety measures in place.

The new Director Ms. Lashawn is doing a great job. She is so good at staying flexible on any project when it comes to the children and her staff. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. My children adore the staff and look forward to attending each day. I am overjoyed and pleased with her and Academy of Tampa Bays services. -Mrs. Charles
This place needs to be shut down. The staff is constantly changing and doesn’t inform the parents. Policy’s are changing and parents are expected to notice a piece of paper amongst other papers about the changes. New Late fees that weren’t brought to parents attentions. Staff told us we could pay on Tuesday (didn’t mention the late fee) and gave us a late fee when we came in at 6 am to pay. Didn’t pick up my child from school Monday afternoon after I didn’t come in Monday morning to pay for the current week cause I normally paid in the afternoon when I would pick up my child.(i wasn’t passed due and my child goes to school in the Morning. My child would come home with bruises with no explanation. I received phones calls my child “had an accident). (He doesn’t wet himself at home) my child told me he could use the bathroom cause the teacher just sat down and “she wasn’t getting up again u could hold it or pee in ur pants”. Last week I went in to pick up my child and nobody was at the front desk. 1 staff member inside with the younger children and the rest were outside. I walked outside to get my child and “Mrs sherry” was sitting down and 2 separate groups of children were on the ground punching each other and nothing was done to stop it until she noticed I was outside. Do not send your kids here unless u want problems

Academy of Tampa Bay is not the same anymore. I miss and love the Original old staff. Person in charge now is very unprofessional. Had an issue with my child being left wet. Spoke to another person about it and it eventually almost turned into a disturbing confrontation. Person in charge demeanor or approach was disgusting. The very next day I removed my child from this center.
Worst place for my kids too ghetto teachers..... can’t be professional at their job .
