We started at Guidepost as a founding family so honestly, it was TERRIFYING to put blind trust in the process. But we are so, so glad we did! We have had such a positive experience here. Our daughter loves her teachers, classmates, and staff. Couldn’t recommend this location more!

I am so grateful for Guidepost Montessori at Gear Lake. I have felt good about our kids attending this school since day one. My two sons have been truly loved and cared for here. The staff and teachers take time to get to know your child as an individual, and have shown that they care for their development as well as their personhood. The staff also truly cares for and listens to you as a parent, and will take the time to address any questions or concerns (Lisa and Beatrice are just wonderful!). My kids are always so happy when I pick them up, and they really have soared developmentally under the Montessori instruction offered here. Thanks, Guidepost!

Guidepost at Gear Lake is an outstanding Montessori School! So pleased that we found a safe welcoming and highly educational school for our one year toddler! She has flourished here and we've found no other Montessori school that accepts children under 3 years old. Other pluses beyond the exceptional staff are the flexible hours from 7am-6pm Mon-Fri, Transparent Classroom, and low student teacher ratio. All great schools start with exceptional leadership -- Head of School Beatrice Laguerre is tops and leads by example! We could not be more pleased and highly recommend!

Guidepost Montessori in Orlando has been such a gift for our family. This staff delivers on the promise of building a family-like community of caregivers. The saying goes, “it takes a village” and we happily claim each person on Guidepost’s staff as part of our village! It’s also the only place I’ve seen where the passion for giving great attention and care to our little ones is felt from the teachers all the way up to the people who run the place - that is a rare and precious thing! The only thing we would love to see changed is for a program to be added for an elementary school (and quickly, in time for our 2.5 year old to attend!). That way, we don’t have to leave our village.

The Nido room is where my baby is and they are extremely dedicated to my baby's care and well being. Additionally, the entire school staff exudes high effort, energy and quality work. Cannot recommend enough!!

I have only positive things to say about this school. As a working mom this place gives me peace of mind knowing that my child is in truly caring hands. The entire staff is friendly and treat the children so well, all around great culture. Any time I see a photo, my child is engaged and having a grand time.

We love Guidepost so far! We looked at so many daycares in the area when trying to find care for our infant. Guidepost just had a completely different feel than everywhere else. It's so calm there. The ratio is smaller for the Nido (infant) room so I feel like our daughter gets much better care. The head teacher Miss Lexi is fantastic, as are all the other teachers that help out in the room. I always get updates and pictures of her day that make me smile. Our daughter is already painting, playing instruments, learning sign language and coming home with a new skill to show us every day. I really feel so lucky we found this place. I don't feel like the classroom and teacher are in constant survival mode just trying to cover all the basics to keep kids safe and fed as in most of the schools we looked at. There is time and space for my baby to relax, make friends, do fun activities, spend time outdoors, and learn here and I really couldn't ask for anything more!

The environment is fantastic. The 2 administrators (Beatrice and Lisa) are very warm and kind and really pay attention to the details that make the children feel special and cared for. Guidepost at Gear Lake has a wonderful parent community and the school is very inclusive. Special shout out to Mrs. Connie! We are coming from a daycare where there were lots of tears and quite frankly, we felt like a burden. They never had anything positive to say and it was clear the teachers were overwhelmed and under educated. Fast forward to today, and our son walks in confidently every morning carrying his lunchbox and offering high fives and hugs. At pick up, he’s all smiles. The quick transition to see this positive reinforcement and his growing independence at home is AWESOME! Truly inspiring. Thank you for coming to the community Guidepost! We really needed you. I hope all parents have the option to experience this transformative and exceptional staff.
