Love this preschool, awesome caring staff. Low turn over rate with employees. My son loves it!!

My son has attended Golden Book since he was 1 year old. He will be graduating this month before starting elementary school in the fall. We love the staff. They have been wonderful in raising and teaching our son. Mr. Roman has done an excellent job for the school since Ms. Pam retired. We are looking forward to our daughter attending Golden Book when she turns 1.

This is a wonderful daycare and preschool. The staff keeps my children engaged and excited to come to school. PreK teachers meet routinely with parents and keep them up-to-date with their child's progress. A fantastic school which I would highly recommend.

I was a preschool director for 25 years, the last 12 in Tallahassee. Recently, I was "Acting Director" for two weeks for Pam Wood, owner of Golden Book Preschool, while she was on vacation. This is a superior preschool on every level. It is adorably decorated, with age-appropriate toys in each room, a Media Center room, two indoor playrooms for bad weather, dance lessons and story time. There are dance and music classes every week. Golden Book has the largest playground I think I've ever seen in a Tallahassee preschool. I was pleasantly surprised by the dedication of the staff during the two weeks I was "in charge." They never missed a beat! Everyone did their job, and even did many of the things I was supposed to do, involving maintenance and checking on the school. It did my heart good to see such well-trained and dedicated workers, who had no intention of playing while the boss was gone. Good job ladies! If you are looking for a Tallahassee preschool, you MUST stop by Golden Book and speak with Pam. You will notice immediately how it is a step above any other local preschool. Congratulations to Pam and her wonderful, hard-working staff for a job well done! Call me anytime! <3
