First Steps has been absolutely wonderful! About to send my second daughter there for preschool!

Such a blessing finding FSLC!! We searched all over before starting my daughter and when I found this school I just knew this was the place I wanted her to attend (over-protective mom here). Mrs. Ryder and her team are incredible with all their students and I fully trust my daughter is in the best hands when she’s there. It’s a small school, the students aren’t lost in a sea of other children and get the attention they need to learn and grow. They go above and beyond to do special things for the kids like renting a bounce house, having an ice cream truck as a special end of the year treat and even farm animals visiting the school. We just ended our 2nd school year and shortly will begin VPK and start my son in the 2/3 year old class. Highly recommend!!!!

Words are not enough to describe my daughter's experience at First Step Learning Center. How did I hear about the school? I came across this gem on the internet. I needed a head start program for my daughter & the universe match me with this school. I remember during registration, I met with the school director and had a tour the same day. I instantly knew this was the preschool choice for my child. Mrs. Ryder gave us a warm welcome and answered all my questions & concerns. I had my daughter home the first three years because I am one of the moms that are skeptical about daycare and their child's well being. To the moms that feels the same way I did, this school will help you be at ease. They truly love and care for each students, no matters of race or nationalities. Also, the school offer curriculum programs as young as the kids are. I think it's absolutely amazing because it will build their confidence. The activities keeps the kids motivated to every day of new learning. Overall, the staff are a great team and a blessing to the Saint Lucie community. We toured many schools before stumbling upon First Step Learning Center. We instantly felt comfortable, safe and confident sending our first here when we met director, Lesley Ryder. She is kind, genunie, and passionate about children and providing the best education. The staff is nothing short of amazing! Each child is greeted by name and a big smile on these teachers faces every morning. My daughter goes to school everyday eager to learn and intereact with teachers and peers. We are so fortunate to be a part of FSLC family and we can’t wait to send of second here next year!

Absolute best VPK…both my boys have graduated VPK here and I couldn’t ask for a better VPK. Teachers are truly amazing! Thank you again FSLC for everything you have done for my boys.

We absolutely LOVE First Step Learning Center!!! I was nervous to send my daughter to school for the first time but after meeting with Mrs. Ryder and her staff we knew that FLSC would be the perfect fit. My daughter had a phenomenal school experience and still talks about it all of the time. The staff here are patient , kind , caring professionals that you can trust with your child. They effectively prepared my daughter for Elementary school academically and socially while providing such a positive experience that she loved going every single day! If you are anxious about sending your little one off to school rest assured First Step Learning Center is the best place. I cannot thank them enough for the work that they do.

I have sent three of my children to First Step and over the four plus years we have been with them, my children have all been safe, happy, and engaged in learning through play every day. We will miss them so much as my children are moving on, but they have become family. Great little school with teachers that have very big hearts.

Our family absolutely loves FSLC! Our daughter has grown and learned so much after attending one school year here. We love the staff and all that they do for our children. We can't imagine sending our daughter anywhere else and look forward to a couple more years here!
