Author: Denise Rae Rating: 5/5 Date: 1/26/2025, 4:43:41 PM Review: Talk about caring staff and volunteers …. Elder Day Stay has the best! My husband has been going 5 days a week since March 2024! He seems happy to go in the mornings and tired when he comes home! We (the staff and I) keep in touch about various “things” going on and they relay to me what I need to know! Honestly, I could not ask for a better “camp” (as we call it) for my husband of 41 years. Wish he didn’t need this facility but because he does, we are thankful to God for the love and care of all - staff, volunteers, music & pet therapy, etc!

Taking the time to say, THANK YOU. Thank you all for affording caregivers like me the opportunity to have peace of mind while tending to the mandatory activities of life like work, etc. Grateful appreciation to all, but would like to say especially to Julie...your gentle and understanding acknowledgment and words of encouragement during those moments that the whole weight of being a sole caregiver threaten to overwhelm, mean more than you can imagine. To Ms. Sheila, your loving attention and care serve to put a really big smile on my mom's face each time she mentions your name, thank you. I look forward to seeing you guys relocate to a bigger facility as the word spreads, because to be honest, I will say to all caregivers needing peace of mind, this is really Tallahassee's best kept secret ever! I also can't wait for you guys to implement an overnight option to your respite care portfolio üòâ...I live in hope üòä GOD bless you all!!
There is currently a wait-list for Day Stay. This is a great service providing caregivers time away.
Staff is very helpful. Individuals appear to be happy.
They did a great job and I highly recommend them. (Once the COVID allows them to reopen)
Moving here to Tallahassee I need to find a program for my brother and was recommended elder days day. I made an appointment so I could tour the place to see if I liked it which I did. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and I decided to bring my brother to see what he thought. My brother seemed very interested in the program now he goes three times a week and wants to go four. They have breakfast there and lunch. So if you’re looking for a place for a family member I’d recommend this place. My brother comes home exhausted he is special-needs. The bus picks them up bring them home I’m happy he’s happy.
