Author: Makayla Franzman Rating: 1/5 Date: 9/4/2024, 7:03:55 PM Review: If I could do zero stars, I would. First off, last year we boarded our yellow lab and he came back sick. Blood in his urine and stool, not eating (which for a lab means something is wrong), could barely stay away, limping, etc. Come to find out the day we are scheduled to pick him up they send out an email saying they found mold in the building. Offered nothing to help, not even a discount for having our dog in an environment that made him sick. Come almost a year later, I get a text that they’re doing a three night boarding special for $60 total so I figured I would give them a 2nd chance. While checking the cameras I think only twice was I able to see my dog in the room. All the other times the camera was off or “unavailable”, which only caused an even more lack of integrity with this company. I was told by an employee that a bath was already included then get a text the next day if I want to add a $45 bath. When sent a screenshot of what THEIR employee texted me, the manager basically told me me I was wrong. When we got my dog back he was covered in vomit and urine. I have never had my dog go potty anywhere besides outside, and he is crate trained as well. Reading all of these reviews now on how they keep your dog in a crate for a long period of time without letting them out is the only thing that makes sense. My dog was severely dehydrated as well along with almost in fear every time we raised our hand like he was hit while there and afraid. It took us 4 baths to get the sour smell off of him which is ridiculous and completely unprofessional. I highly recommend going elsewhere if you want the best care for your dog. ----- Author: Sharon P Rating: 5/5 Date: 8/15/2023, 1:02:00 PM Review: My two dogs have been going to Dogtopia since it opened. My dogs are very happy to go to daycare, and they have also boarded there when my family travels. The staff is extremely caring, professional, and kind. The facility is kept immaculately clean. There are cameras so you can peek at your dog during the day to see what he/she is up to. The staff knows all the dogs by name and let pet parents know how their dogs are doing. There are special treats and events (bubble day) to keep the dogs engaged during the day. There is always a staff member in each dog room to supervise the dogs. Most importantly, each and every staff member is passionate about dogs and caring for dogs. You won't find a daycare or boarding facility that takes better care of your dogs.

I called and left message 5 days ago and no response. Additionally I called prior to leaving the review. Poor customer service continues!

BEWARE: Your dog is at RISK OF BEING INJURED! This is the WORST place to take your dog. They mix large bully breeds with senior dogs, putting this at severe risk of being bullied and injured. They also do not offer insurance for any of the dogs - if your dog gets shredded by a bully breed, too bad! You’re out thousands of dollars!

What can I say? This place is a Godsend. I board my dog here whenever I have to go out of town and I know he will be well taken care of and come home tired! The last time I boarded him, I did not realize he was overdue for a rabies shot. I was out of town and one of the employees offered to drive him to my vet to get the shot for no charge! My vet ended up doing it as a house call but I appreciate how they offered to go above and beyond. The webcams don't always work but I never worry about my dog when he is at Dogtopia. The staff is always so kind and happy to see him and he has a great time.

DANGER. Dog owners beware of Dogtopia! My puppy sustained serious injuries during a visit to Dogtopia that required emergency vet care. Dogtopia DIDN’T notice anything happen, nor did they see his very pronounced limp. And then they implied that both myself and THE VET fabricated the extent of the injuries. The severe negligence (their cameras hardly ever work and have many blind spots) combined with their lack of accountability and even lack of empathy in my specific situation, show that management does not actually care about the dogs in their care. Do not send your pets here! Full story and pictures here: After just a couple weeks of sending my puppy to Dogtopia, he came home limping with an extremely swollen elbow and multiple, deep bite marks. We had to rush him to an emergency vet where he required sedation, X-rays, stitches, and two drains due to the severe injuries. The vet confirmed that the damage was substantial and could not have gone unnoticed by any aware individuals present. Given the size of the injury, the vet said likely a large dog had bit and shook him, causing deep pockets where infection would have built up if not immediately addressed. Despite this, the manager at Dogtopia claimed they “reviewed the surveillance tapes” and found nothing. Shocking! He also went on to suggest that if the injuries were as severe as the vet reported, they would have noticed it. This dismissive response seemed to suggest that both the vet and I were fabricating the story. Additionally, the manager insisted they never saw any signs of limping or bites, even though I observed these issues within minutes of picking up my dog. Photos attached to show the extent of the injuries.
