It has been an absolutely wonderful experience for my first son, so I decided I had to provide my second son the same atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and at ease knowing he too will be in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The teachers and staff are caring, patient, and truly dedicated to each child’s growth and development. I know son will flourish here as his brother did years ago. I also appreciate the strong communication between the staff and parents, which keeps me informed and reassured about my child’s progress/day.Teachers are easy to reach and replies are returned. It’s comforting to know my son is in a place where he is not only learning but also having fun while forming great friendships. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this center is truly dedicated to providing a nurturing, stimulating environment for young learners. The staff are not only highly professional but also incredibly warm and loving towards the children. It’s evident that they are genuinely invested in each child's development and happiness. The curriculum is both fun and educational, offering a great balance of play-based learning and structured activities. Our child has grown so much in both confidence and skills since starting here, and we couldn’t be happier with the progress. The communication with parents is top-notch, with regular updates and an open-door policy that makes us feel connected every step of the way. The wonderful people at AWOD provided all of that and more. They're virtually a second family. From my first inquiry they were attentive, kind and more than willing to work with me. I felt understood and I was given any and all information I could ask for with no issues (trust me when I say I asked a lot and it wasn't all at once either haha.) Ms. Leslie did not disappoint when she and her family brought in the best team for these kids. The attentiveness, the patience, the VALUE they brought into my life and my child's is at a standard in which every person and place will have to live up to. I'd like to say "I couldn't be happier" with what they did for my little one during their time there but they always upstaged my expectations and I don't doubt they'll continue upwards! If you're thinking of THE place to have your little one feel safe, get the best education and so much more PLEASE look no further than AWOD. I would do it all over again if I could (I feel this might be a typical statement but this isn't your typical team.) (The school serve lunch with a healthy menu, meals made from scratch and natural ingredients) My son is a picky eater, and I had tried everything; but few weeks here helped him to open to taste new food options without the anxiety of trying different textures and flavors… I know only parents with picky eaters will understand… THANK YOU Mrs. Carolina!! Also have to mention that I felt secure with their drop off/pickup procedure, their bilingual program was a plus, I was impress with all the fun learning activities, and appreciated their lovely & caring staff. Like most first time moms, I was hesitant to be away from my baby (then 5 months old) but had to return to work. I toured so many places before finally deciding on AWOD. The moment I toured, I knew AWOD would be my daughter’s home away from home. You can feel the warmth, care and dedication from everyone and I noticed all the children were smiling and so happy to be there. After only a month of returning to work, COVID hit unexpectedly. As a healthcare worker, I continued to work in person during the height of the pandemic and was very grateful for AWOD. They did an amazing job at following strict protocols and keeping everyone safe during unprecedented times. More importantly, they gave me peace of mind that my baby was well cared for while I was at work. My daughter was not an easy baby (colicky, acid reflux, food allergies) and generally is very sensitive. Luckily, they were (and still are) very patient with her and showered her with the love she needed to thrive. Fast forward to the present, she is turning 2 soon and I can honestly say there has never been a day she wasn’t excited to go to school because AWOD does such a great job at creating a fun and nurturing learning environment. We have quite some ways to go before Kindergarten obviously but I already feel confident she will acquire the skills she needs because beyond working on age appropriate skills and development (fine and gross motor skills, ABCs, numbers etc), they have instilled a love for learning in her. Some other pros I really love are the communication app (tells me what they worked on that day, when she ate or drank, had diaper changes, when and how long she napped etc), how they go above and beyond to make every occasion fun and memorable (Easter Egg Hunts, Mother’s Day Drive Through event, Santa visiting etc), the extracurriculars (Music, Soccer, etc) and the bilingual environment (My family speaks English and my native language Tagalog/Filipino at home but my daughter says words in Spanish regularly “agua”, “leche”, “pato” and understands quite a bit when it is spoken to her- helpful in South Florida!). Like I said, I can’t say enough good things. If you are considering AWOD, I highly suggest taking a tour.

After touring so many programs, we knew we made the best decision as our son started at AWOD over 3 years ago. We have been impressed with the curriculum; there are many fun and educational activities weekly. The staff is passionate about what they do, they love their students and the kids are happy and safe. My son was able to participate in several extracurricular activities including art, soccer, martial arts and music and had a wonderful time learning and growing. It is clear that Ms. Leslie, Ms. Carolina and all of the teachers and staff have such passion for what they do! My son is very well prepared for Kindergarten. We can eat off the floor. They provide so many opportunities for my child to learn, have fun and just enjoy going to school. Everything is so hassle free and structured. Each and every staff member is so loving, warm, friendly and helpful. I was so amazed with the curriculum and how much my daughter is learning. I have even adopted a lot of their activities for my own classroom :). The team is the absolute best at providing quality education, enrichment and experiences hands down!
