Author: Denise Rating: 5/5 Date: 2/4/2023, 10:38:22 PM Review: Super shocked at any negative review for this school. I’ve never been so happy with a daycare facility and I moved my daughter a couple times. The teachers and staff treat these kids like their own. Your child will also learn about the Lord which is crucial. My daughter started speaking more and counting to 12 a couple months after attending this school. The warmth and love the teachers show to my daughter is a blessing. God moved us for a purpose. The owners of this child care facility as well are amazing. I attended their Christmas event which was memorable and centered on Christ. Thank you Davie Christian Academy as you are an answered prayer. I know our daughter is safe and in the hands of others who love her dearly!

Excellence in education. I am having a great experience so far! My daughter has improved a lot even in her vocabulary.
This place is really cute, its also under new ownership, which means lots of changes. There are barely any kids. In my opinion, as a day care for kids 5 and under who are not in elementary, this would be perfect. Their playground is breathtaking and everything looks and smells very clean. The one teacher I met looks very sweet. Additionally, the new owner seems to be very nice and gives off a very good vibe. Unfortunately, there are some areas of concern. For school aged children program, it needs some change, or to just close in general. While they do school pick up, they are closed mostly all of the days that the elementaries are closed, such as Martin Luther King. There are lots of random days that are closed which isnt exactly what working parents need. Additionally, they close at 5:30, which is okay with me, but most parents would be rushing for pick up and with how unpredictable traffic can be, sometimes that may be very hard. Again, lots of potential with how cute this place is and the staff. Just need to get coordinated as with the new ownership, there are many loose strings. Wish this place the best.
I am very happy to drop our son off to school each morning. The staff are warm and friendly. He has been learning a lot and I am pleased with his progress since he has started.

The review shared is based on my personal opinion and experience. After my horrific experience with child care facility I have decided when staff start exhibiting abnormal behavior we are leaving. My three year old son attended this school for a month. First NEGATIVE: This school closes at 5:30pm. Imagine racing in traffic to pick your kid up and getting attitude from staff after having a near death experience trying to make it on time. Second NEGATIVE: My son dress up for Easter picture day and when I arrive to pick him up I was told by staff that that my three year old didn't take picture because my three year old didn't want to. Who is the adult the three year old child or staff (poor classroom management). LAST NEGATIVE: The last week my son attended they handed me two incident report back to back. Staff NEVER explain what it was just that they wanted me to be aware. After the second one back to back I then ask well if I get two incident report back to back what does this mean. We are NEW here and we don't know how this works. They were like well after the third report and I was like "you know what, say less". Parents HEADS UP if your child does not have the maturity of an adult, acts their age or has special need, this is NOT the place for you keep looking.
Davie Christian Academy is an amazing preschool! It is a God honoring, loving, and an exceptional school. The staff and curriculum by far exceed our expectations. All of our kids attended DCA and would always look forward to going to school every day. The staff there is like family and they always made my kids feel special. They would come home exited to share what they learned or what fun activity they did. Every parent wants the best environment for their little ones and this place is definitely a peace of mind. We could not love and recommend DCA enough!
I went to the school and called and made an appointment the day before and spoke with a very nice gentleman who told me to be there at 5 PM the following day to tour the school and take a look at it for my daughter who is 2 1/2. Upon walking up to the door I was greeted by an old lady who started yelling at me that nobody can come in here until 530 and telling me that she doesn’t know who she heard it from but you can’t come in till 530 it was so rude and unexpected and the husband tried to give me a tour anyways of the school and if you want to be yelled at and treated poorly send your kids here. I will NEVER GO BACK AND DO NOT Recommend the school to anyone. They are highly disorganized, unfriendly and too small for the capacity of children that they have.
