When Lexi stayed there for 7 days in March I received video s , pictures. I know he had a great time . Are friends told us about the critter cottage. We were impressed. Thank you so much.

I brought my dogs in to get groomed. Cut, bathed, nails. Told them to leave the head and tail a bit longer then the rest - they didn’t even cut or trim them up. Ones ears were not cleaned out nor trimmed (long hair on them - easily mattes) was told to cut on a two but found out they were cut on a five. Paid 250. Not at all worth it. Never paid so much for grooming. Very disappointing.

I've been taking my yorkie there for 6 years and my shitzu for 4 years. The owner and staff are wonderful. They take great care of my "girls" whether they're there for daycare, grooming, or boarding. I have never had a reason to complain...only praise. That is even more needed now after hurricanes Helene and then Milton hit within two weeks of each other. Since I needed to evacuate I felt confident in leaving them at Critter Cottage. I felt they were safer there than with me, never thinking that zone C would have been included under mandatory evacuation. When they had to evacuate they took all 11 dogs and 9 cats with them. That's impressive and I'm so happy I found and trust Critter Cottage with my "girls". Thank you for your hardwork and dedication to the animal kingdom. You've helped me in more ways than I can count.

Charged over 25% more for groom than in the past without warning. Told it was because manager decided I had been "given a break for too long." The real story is Valerie has been grooming my Newfoundland since April. Our first visit took longer because she had not been groomed for awhile. I paid extra that first groom because it took longer. Valerie on her own volition told me that if I would bring my dog in every 6 weeks, it would take her less time and she would charge me for accordingly for less time it would take to groom. Thus, the price I had been paying was for time spent and more frequency, rather than having been given any break in price. Today I was called for pick up four hours after dropoff. Valerie would take 2-2.5 hours. I was informed that Valerie had left no notes so they just assumed I had been "getting away without paying enough" (their words, not mine) even though they admit that they had no idea that Valerie took about half the time to groom her because I was bringing my dog in more frequently. And she looked awesome every time Valerie groomed her (I was told that the only thing they could think was Valerie did not do as good of job. Seriously?) And if they had said my dog took longer to groom today for a legit reason, I would have been ok with that. But to start out with treating me like I have "gotten away" with something when the manager admits she did not have all the information is completely disappointing. I always had a great experience with Valerie and had loved taking my dogs here for the past 5 months. Valerie is now gone.

After seeing the many reviews and “likes” of reviews where animals were harmed while being groomed - I requested to be present for our dogs grooming the first few times . At first they lied and said it was an insurance issue and then said it was owners rules. All things considered, this does not appear to be a safe grooming service.

Dedicated to caring for animals. Kind staff, helpful and treat your pets like they are their own. Gave my new rescue dog a great grooming. Highly recommend.
