Loving, caring people you can be real with.

I did a tour here to place my 4 month old, I have been to several child care places but I have to say this will be where my daughter goes even if we choose to wait till she’s 1. The employees are personalable sweet and very knowledgeable about children and deep down care. I am very good at reading people and this church means well and it really is about the children. As I was on my tour I looked in to the class rooms and the kids are smiling happy and enjoying class in all grades.

BEST school ever! The teachers and ALL staff are amazing!

Nice people, nice leadership and a pleasant setting. BUT... Attended a service where there was infant Baptism. I am not per se against this concept, but in this church, it was taught contrary to the bible. Baptism does not guarantee heaven or salvation, It does not "put a seed of faith" into a person as was stated over and over in hymn and from the pulpit. Additionally, the leader went on and on how it was great that we had all these loud and figgity children in the church and we should just be accepting and are bad to think otherwise. Well, I and my wife were both raised in the church and we went to age appropriate Sunday school during church and we learned and enjoyed ourselves while the parent enjoyed the peace needed to reflect on a loving God.

I have been attending Christ the King for several years and could not be happier. From the first visit my family has always been greeted with a smile and warm welcome. I love how there is a soft 'buzz' of voices in the church before service begins due to everyone being friendly and greeting each other. It's not like sitting in a tomb waiting for the service to begin. There is energy an excitement in the room before each and every service. As for the worship services, they are top notch and filled with scripture and music that points you to Jesus. I always leave feeling uplifted, strengthened, and encouraged. One thing I truly appreciate with CTK is that they not only focus on keeping Christ central, but they teach specifically what the original language of the Bible says about a subject and not just a man's inrepretation of what it means. I have also had the priviledge of volunteering in the CTK School on several occasions. Each time I was there I was amazed at the quality of excellence the school has. The entire campus is clean, organized, and a very safe environment for the wide range of ages on campus (toddler-8th). The teachers are friendly and almost always seen smiling. They seem to have an incredible love for not only the children they teach but for the Lord as well. In fact, my husband and I plan on sending our son to CTK next year as he starts middle school. I have total confidence that he will not only get a great educuation but it will be done in an environemnt that will help his faith grow as well.

Well first off let me say that Christ the King Lutheran Church & School is everything about Jesus Christ and His Word. That is the focal point and thus their name. With that being their focal point, the blessings and growth flow down from Christ onto His church, school, students and members. They teach the True Word of God. It is not a church and school built on man's beliefs or changing God's Word to fit their lifestyle or society's viewpoint on things. They rely on God's Word and its original meaning. If they are not sure of something they keep reading the Bible and dive into the original writings of the Bible to see what it says instead of relying on man's sinful heart. I found that most impressive as I was tired of attending churches where they would say "Well this is what I believe the Bible is saying or that does not apply anymore today because it is outdated and not with today's times." Well that just leads people astray from God! I have never seen a church and school more organized than Christ the King Lutheran Church & School. They try to plan well in advance and take the right steps in doing things and growing. Their vision and purpose is outstanding and I am thankful to be a part of it. My wife and I plan on putting our son in their school. This will help give us comfort knowing he will be taught in an environment filled with strong religious and moral beliefs and a strong and outstanding education environment that blows away the public school system. You want to be part of a loving, Bible believing and family friendly church? Then Christ the King is for you!!!
