Just wanted to give you a heads up about True North Early Center and its principal, Ms. Christina Schmiedeler. From what I've observed, it honestly feels like she might not have much patience or fondness for kids. I've seen instances where her interactions with children, especially those with special needs, have been far from compassionate. It's crucial for a school leader to genuinely care about the students, but her actions often tell a different story. Considering how important a positive and nurturing environment is for our kids, you might want to consider looking at other options. Our children deserve educators and leaders who truly value them. unfortunately, Ms. Schmiedeler could care less about your child. I encourage you to explore other options where your child can be nurtured and truly valued.
If you care about your kid’s safety and well being, run away from this school. Ms. Christina Schmiedeler (the principal) only care about her own convenience. She called our three year old baby “the next Nikolas Cruz”, she told us our baby will destroy our marriage along with more horrific accusations similar to these just because our son has a speech impediment that causes him difficulty communicating his needs. After sharing these inhumane words with Ms. Christina’s supervisors, True North dismiss everything and “advices us” to move forward with a different care option for our son. If you love your child run away from this place but more importantly run away from Christina Schmiedeler, if your child doesn’t fall into the “easy going” category, she will harass you and your kid in the most cruel way possible, beyond you could ever imagine.
Excellent campus. Great administration, great teachers. My boys have never been happier.
Amazing school, staff and faculty. Strong academics and a family atmosphere. My LO has learned so much in such a short period of time. At pick up he’s always excited to share what he learned at school. Christina and Monica are always willing to answer any question I have big or small. Highly recommend!
