Author: Jasmine Mitchell Rating: 5/5 Date: 11/15/2024, 6:01:01 AM Review: If I could give BCA 100 stars I would! My children have been attending for 3.5 yrs since they were 19m & 6m. The staff is warm, welcoming attentive and honestly feel like family. They’ve always treated my children as if they were their own. I’ve never had to worry about their wellbeing or feel skeptical about their education/care. there may in fact be other daycares that cost less, however as a single mother it’s not always easy to find trustworthy child care. But I’m very quick to tell people that you get what you pay for. I could easily find a cheaper day care but im certain my children would be at a great disadvantage. At BCA you get quality care, and actual curriculum that’s tailored to the child’s age broken down into categories for social, emotional and academic development. My 3 yr old can count in Spanish, recite months of the year, days of the week, seasons you name it. The school offers extra curricular activities, themed events, annual parents night out, picture day 2x a year and more. The kids genuinely are excited to attend school and share what they’ve learned. The schools app keeps parents updated on daily routine, sleep pattern, art, activities as well as mood (which I think is amazing). Thats enough to make any parent comfortable and informed. BCA has truly been an integral part of my children’s lives and I appreciate their level of communication, safety concerns, protocol, and support. If you’re looking for a childcare center that’s structured yet fun & welcoming for both children and loved ones, BCA is the only placed id ever recommend. Mrs. Tammy is truly the heart of the place. The staff is wonderful, all the children love them and so many kids begin as infants and walk out VPK graduates. My son will be one of those children next spring. If that doesn’t speak volumes i dont know what will. Parents trust BCA to educate, and keep their children safe during the most delicate part of their life and there aren’t enough stars for that peace of mind and gratitude.

We moved my daughter here after a horrible incident at another daycare and she’s been going here now for over a year. Everyday she comes home with something new she has learned! Her teachers are awesome! She has learned Spanish and sign language on top of many other things. Mrs. Tammy the director is so wonderful i can’t say enough about her.

I do not recommend this place for any child of any age I was horrified after one month of my child attending and I did not grasp how much it affected him until he started attending a new school and I feel like I finally got my baby back as it was affecting his home behavior his happiness I still do not comprehend how can hostile environment exist for a child to be so paranoid if we were to drive past this daycare begging me not to make him go there On multiple occasions was he so distressed emotionally to the point of crying himself to the throwing up and wetting his pants I blamed myself at first I don't know how my child became to start behaving so badly It's only took one week away from that daycare in order for him to completely go back to himself I'm still processing this whole experience and I would not wish it upon any other child or parent

If i could post zero stars i would. I 100% will always support the Daycares that are for the children and not the money. If you want to shovel out money to a center thats your preference, as a single woman, and mother i for sure can not. They’re quick to tack on fees, and demand payment up front. Not all centers go by a “10 hour limit rule” this one does, which is not mandated by the state. They just CHOOSE to go by that rule because again they only care about money!!! My child never comes home with class work/ homework so that tells me all they're doing is playing in paint all day! I know they don't even work with learning how to spell or write their name which with what we practice at home she should know by now if they’re doing it in class as well. The lady at the desk in the afternoon is not welcoming at all. Monotoned, and always waits to have you deal with documentation after the children have been called. Yelling your business out across the room as other parents and staff are walking out. Calling for non emergencies is uncalled for unless it’s an actual emergency due to parents unable to take personal calls at work. Holding you up at drop off and pick up for things that can be communicated through email or text. This is the first daycare where I have ever had an experience like this.

My son has been attending BCA for years now and i have nothing but good things to say about the staff and teachers there, everyone is good at communicating and of course teaching and caring for children, i have no doubts my son will succeed in kindergarten this year thanks to all of their help. All in all outstanding experience.

We absolutely love Baymeadows Children’s Academy. My 4yo has learned so much and is so excited to go every morning, even asking to go on the weekends. Ms Tammy has always been so wonderful, as well as his teachers, Ms Audra and Ms Nilda. I’m so grateful they are taking such good care of my son, it gives me peace of mind having him there. Best choice I made is enrolling him at BCA.
