I feel sorry for the parents that actually has their kids in there and all these situations were already informed to the authorities who are in a revision process. I’m actually under threat by them but I’m doing this because I think is the right thing to do to inform this situation for other parents and kids. Now, after a couple of months with my kid in a real VPK program in a real school which I thank god for finding, I realize more the kind of place where we were before. - If you are actually with your kid in there, just wonder why they always try to keep you outside the place and play "the black box game" - In my time I always got feedback on my son from a Cuban assistant (Not the teacher) who always repeated the same, all good, all fine. - After a time my kid started to behave strangely and he didn't really wanted to go to the place, once I just asked all the answers where: "We did the best that we can" and with the focus of that "your son has a problem" or "your son doesn't adapt to the place" - Once I went into the classroom to pick him up with the person that attended us and all the kids where sleeping and my son was playing with the teachers phone in the dark, the answer was "He grabbed my phone once I putted on the table where we where sit". - Mix all kids of different ages in same room, for my son in particular it was very upsetting to be with a lot of crying babies because I guess they were shot-staff and always just doing “the best that they can” Serious! - My kid one day says "Teacher hit me", next day I asked for the recording and they told me that they where going to review this situation and inform me... When???, "just give us a couple of days", after days the answer was "we're short staff", I stopped asking until 2 weeks and when I asked again, the answer was the same... My kid was probably abused in that place and they didn't follow the proper procedure of inform of this situation to the proper authorities and until today they never showed me any recording, even that when I was to the first visit the painted everything as a rainbow with them. - My son is in VPK program, but we never receive the proper program evaluation as the program indicates, they made him paint and past cotton in papers most of the time. It was a complete surprise for me that when we started my actual son school, they explain us the whole program and then setup a meeting to review the evaluation results, all this was done in the first week!!! I had my son in “that place” for 2 and a half months and in 1 week other school did more than them. - One day I went to drop off my son to this place and they asked to talk to me, the Director of the establishment (Venezuelan woman) delivered me a signed letter from where they were accusing me of a crime due a recording device founded in my son’s pocket and due to that they terminated the whole program and they said “this is the last day of your son here”, without corroborating that it was mine and if it were, that I had the intention of recording them. I review this situation in the legal terms and its completely wrong. I asked for the device to review it and they say that it was “evidence” and they will keep it. If I wanted it back I should go with the police but “we won’t call the police because we don’t want to hurt your son”... you can came up to conclusions on what they were doing. They said that my kid was complaining about something in his pocket and that’s how they realize that he has something in his pocket, obviously no recording shows that… why? was in the classroom…. Couple of questions to ask if you are evaluating this place: - Are we going to receive regular evaluation results of my kids progress if VPK program is part of the process? - Are you going to show me cameras once I requested on any particular day if I mention an irregular situation?, can you leave that in the contract? written down?

A great school. Our son loved it. The teachers are very dedicated and loving. I would recommend this school for families where both parents have full time jobs. Their schedule is very accommodating. Thank you so much for taking care of our son. He still talks about Ms Luz and his friends.
I’d like to say Thank You to all the staff at The Genius Kids Academy. My son was attending pre-K last year in that school. We were accepted by one of the magnet schools in the area. My son continues to be a star student, he is confident about his knowledge and being very responsible about his homework. He learned how to do it in pre-K. Most importantly, he still remembers his teachers and always wants to greet them once we are picking up our little one from the school. Thank you again! I’m very happy and beyond grateful!

Wonderful kindergarten! My son loves to go there, wonderful teachers. Children do physical education, do crafts. The kindergarten has a wonderful atmosphere for children. We like everything very much, I highly recommend it.

My daughters were very happy at GKA. The teachers are so caring. They use class dojo and so we were able to get pictures of what the kids were doing in the class on most days. The front desk staff also very helpful and available in person and by telephone if needed.
This is the best day care in the area. We’ve been bringing our daughter here for about two years and she absolutely loves her friends and her teachers. They also have other programs available like ballet and hip hop classes. The staff is amazing and the place is always SPOTLESS! We recommend 100%! Thank you GKA for all the love you’ve given our daughter.
My daughter is member for 3 years already. They learning every day something new. Our child was going to other ballet school, but she just loves ballet with Claudia. Claudia is the best ballet teacher. We love our child teachers and we are very happy. Thank you!
