Author: Valerie Jasso Rating: 1/5 Date: 11/21/2023, 2:02:20 PM Review: My son was here for 2 weeks, that was all I needed to know this wasn’t the right place for him. It was a big adjustment but when someone takes interest and consoles him he adjust better. The teacher says she just lets him cry until he’s done and then he comes to participate when he’s ready. He’s ONE! He wasn’t eating well while there so I asked if I could bring snacks or pack him something so that it helps the transition better, they said no. I asked if there was something they could give him if he didn’t eat well they said graham crackers and saltines. Also rather than changing the children as needed they strictly go by their clipboard times which resulted in a rash. I did bring this up and afterward they changed him more frequently, but why was it something that needed to be addressed in the first place. I asked about curriculum and structure and the director says well it’s an adjust period this is the teachers 1st week. My thoughts are: you as the director should have a plan for that class room until the teacher settles in. When I told them we were switching out of the school back to his old daycare they didn’t allow for me to receive updates on his last day, kicked me out of the app at 9:30am. When I picked him up that day he had a large bump on his forehead with a fresh bruise and none of the 3 teachers who were in and out of his room could tell me how it got there. ( there were only 2 out of 6 children present in that classroom that day). When I asked to see the cameras the director told me she was busy and that she would review them later, but still haven’t received a phone call. I get it kids fall, run into things, etc. but when you as the caregiver have no idea how it got there that’s a problem. I could have worked with them if they had seemed to genuinely care, but that is not the vibe I received.
Does this day care have monitoring cameras?
Yes
One review mentions the director's unwillingness to review security camera footage following a child's injury, indicating that cameras may be present, but their accessibility for incident review is uncertain.

This child care is center is a real Gem. My son has been attending now for 2 months . Really a savior place compared to where we formerly went. Ms. Jessica is in the front office always very helpful. Ms. Kim is excellent. I also know another teacher Ms. Lisa who we knew from a previous place. Great crew over all. If you are looking for a clean well managed daycare this is your new place.
Due to a few moves this is the third school our child has attended and by far it’s been the best! All of the caregivers are nurturing and truly love all of the kids. They have found the perfect balance between education and play. Our daughter loves going to school and is always so happy to see her friends & teacher, and loves telling us about her day. Couldn’t be more thankful that we’ve found this school!
Had a great experience for VPK with this school. The teacher, Ms.Misty Lucas, made my sons time there extra special. She involves the parents and took photos for us everyday!
Last year was our first experience with this school and we couldn’t be happier. My granddaughter absolutely loved her time in PreK and her teacher, Ms. Kim. The director, Miss Jessica is an absolute joy to work with. My grandson was so fortunate to have Ms. Misty this year. She is an amazing individual who works with each student and meets them where their needs are.
We attended VPK this year and hands down had one of the best experiences with her teacher. Ms. Misty has a passion for teaching that shines through everyday. Her patience and kindness has made learning a joy for my daughter. She truly cares and has made a huge impact on our whole family. We will miss her terribly but we know she has set our daughter up for nothing but success.
I tried three other daycares before finally finding one that fit. Learning academy is reasonably priced and are always doing something special for the kids. My son has been at learning academy for a year now for before and after care, no complaints. He loves it there. His favorite teachers are Miss Nicole and Miss Misty. I've also had him in their summer camp this past year which he enjoyed as well. Id recommend to family and friends more but they're children are older. Only service I wish they would add is tutoring.

We have had two kids recieve care at this school. Ms. Misty is great with our little guy on a daily basis, and all of the staff are very kind and caring. We love it here! Ms. Jessica, Ms. Nicole, Ms. Kim, Ms. Aylen, Mr. Noah, and Ms. Lisa are all wonderful caregivers who we've had great interactions with over the three years we've been coming to this location.
I absolutely love this daycare! The staff is wonderful! If you are looking for somewhere to take your kids, I highly recommend taking them here!
Great place to send your children! The staff treats them like their own. My child has learned so much while attending. Would definitely recommend to other families looking for a place to send their child for care.
