It’s disappointing to see how much this daycare has declined. High management turnover has led to great teachers leaving, and issues like police reports and inspection write-ups have raised serious concerns. Corporate customer service is just as bad—calls go unanswered, and parents are treated like an afterthought. This center used to be great, but sadly, it no longer feels like a safe or supportive place for families.

As a Wellington parent of two children for five years, I’ve witnessed a heartbreaking decline in the quality of care provided. While I once wholeheartedly recommended this daycare, I now feel compelled to share my experience to prevent other families from enduring similar disappointment. Wellington once felt like a second home for my children. The early years were exceptional, thanks to a dedicated and loving staff. Our infants and toddlers thrived under their care. Even in the preschool years, we were fortunate to have outstanding teachers. However, a stark change occurred over the past five years. Staff turnover became alarmingly high, leading to inconsistent care and a less nurturing environment for children. Frequent early closures without compensation further disrupted our family’s routine and highlighted a disregard for parents' needs. It’s evident that the current staff is overworked and under appreciated , which undoubtedly impacts their ability to provide optimal care. The heart of the problem lies with the daycare’s ownership. Their absence in addressing critical issues is appalling. Despite generating substantial revenue, they've consistently failed to invest in essential resources for both staff and children. From ignoring parent feedback to neglecting basic facility upkeep, it’s clear that profit takes precedence over the well-being of those in their care. The owners’ indifference is evident in their response, or lack thereof, to a recent news article highlighting concerns about the daycare. Their silence speaks volumes about their priorities. The physical state of the facility is equally distressing. A worn-down building, coupled with questionable hygiene practices, creates an unhealthy environment for children. From peeling floors to malfunctioning air conditioning, the neglect is evident. The discovery of children's sleeping mats stored in bathrooms is utterly unacceptable and poses a serious health risk. It’s disheartening to see a once-loved daycare deteriorate into a subpar facility. The owners' disregard for basic maintenance and cleanliness is a clear indication of their priorities. It is with deep disappointment that I share my experience at Wellington. What was once a beloved daycare has transformed into an environment that prioritizes profit over the well-being of children. The combination of inadequate staffing, absent ownership, and a deteriorating facility creates a toxic atmosphere for both children and staff. I urge prospective parents to carefully consider their options before entrusting their children to Wellington. The safety, health, and overall development of your child deserve a higher standard of care.

When my son first started school here, this place was thriving. Mrs. Danielle has been the most steady, consistent teacher here. She is amazing and taught my son so much throughout the year in VPK. Unfortunately as time goes on, it’s rapidly going downhill. The teachers are constantly changing. Several staff started dropping like flies and leaving recently. While I don’t know the owner personally, I think she is to blame for a lot of it. She seems super money hungry and like she could care less about the employees. She started cutting everyone’s hours because she’s clearly cheap and greedy as hell. You can’t not pay and take good care of your people then be surprised when they all leave. I’d be really surprised if this place was still in business within the next year.

My granddaughters went there. Would not recommend. No consistently for children. Constant changing of staff. Will hire anyone off street to care for your children with no appropriate background.

Ms. Kelsey is the best teacher ever. She made my experience at Wellington great. Edited The rest of our experience there was not the greatest. Lots of turnover. We pulled out kids after a baby was left on the changing table. The lady was fired but still. And my friends kid was left outside, alone in the summer heat. Not okay!

Unsafe environment as my 3 year old child was recently left on the playground alone in this 100 degree weather unattended. Owner doesn’t care about the kids. Constantly out of ratio. Door was left unlocked for several weeks so anyone could walk in.

Do not be fooled by the fake reviews that were all done within a month to make up for the fact that some kid got smacked by the caregiver (yes she got arrested) but how does it go from 2 stars to almost 5? In short amount time?? The turnover rate is crazy and also lot of things happen behind the scenes that the parents are not aware of ... I pulled my child from this location.. cant speak for the other location but this one BEWARE!!!!

Ms. Kelsey is one of our absolute favorite teachers! She has always gone above and beyond for my girls. While we loved the entire staff of the Wellington fam, Ms. Kelsey will always hold a special place in our hearts!
