I’m very happy with the care he’s been having all this time. They have an amazing curriculum, the place is always clean, they follow very well the protocols and are very concerned about the child wellbeing. My son’s teachers are the best !!! They always communicative and kind with my son . Wonderful team, wonderful teachers. I’m very lucky to found this place for my son.

This center offers high quality education. It is not a babysitter center . The teachers prepare the activities prior to meet with the children so, 100% of interaction during school hours.

This school and the staff are ridiculous they discriminate against non fluent Spanish parents they rush my daughter they demand money for everything and not reasonably priced but yet have 2nd and 3rd grade in the same class. I swear the very 2nd I can pull my daughter out I will. Because this is ridiculous and tge fact I can't even communicate with anyone because they refuse to even try to speak English I honestly wish we never found this pretend school that just receive hard worked parents money and state assistance
Best daycare my kids were there since they were 1 But my kids are still going now for summer camp which they love because they do field trips
Was having a hard time finding a daycare that would take my daughter from 2-5 (she goes to Pre-K at a public school, but since she isn't potty trained she can't go to their aftercare). When I called the Thumbelina Learning Center on 32nd - they said it was no problem. I asked if she can start the following week - and they also said no problem. I stopped calling other places, thinking I found the place for my daughter. I went in, the director showed me to the 3 year old class which looked pretty empty since it was the end of the day. When I started to explain my 3 year old was nonverbal and was going to OT and Speech therapy which is the reason I only needed care after 2pm - she started making excuses. Saying that they don't have space for her. Um, then why are you showing me around? Its fine if you can admit that you don't have the capability for caring for kids with special needs (even though the only issue with my daughter is she doesn't SPEAK well, otherwise she is just like every other 3 year old), but to lie and say the reason you can't take her is because you don't have space?. The director also made assumptions about my child saying that they can't have aggressive kids in the class - when i never said my daughter was aggressive. Autistic does not mean aggressive. Not saying that they wouldn't treat other kids well, but if this is how you treat a parent that has a special needs child - I would be careful how they treat other kids as well, especially ones that are nonconventional.
Thurbelina es un centro estupendo tiene un elenco de profesores s√∫per preparado y dedicado a la ense√±anza de nuestro hijos la verdad no me puedo quejar de este centro lo recomiendo con los ojos cerrados üëåüëçüòâ.
This school is amazing. Both our children started here one at 6 months the other at 1 year. They learned so much, both academically, and socially. Never did I have a concern that was not addressed. From the director to every teacher... they all know every kid by first and last name at the center and who can and cannot pick them up. They identify strangers even before opening the doors. My 5 year old just graduated from pre kinder and when I got the report from the Department of education she is performing at above level. This is in big part thanks to an amazing teacher called Margarita. She is sweet but firm, she shows them love and caring but will correct their misbehavior in such amazing ways kids really thrive to expose their maximum potential. My 3 year old is already counting she knows the shapes and colors. They love everyone at this school, all teachers like I said at one point or another help to care for the children sometimes through field trips sometimes through recess periods to all of them: Ana, Yamilet, Mireya, Nancy, Neisy, Yoelvys, Karina, Lorena, Margarita, Marlen, Amanda, and Alicita. We will always treasure our time in Thumbelina. Thank you for being so great! .... The Pino family.
