Our daughter has been going to Roig Academy since the beginning of this school year and we feel it has been a very positive influence. Having her cry to stay longer with her friends and teacher is a good problem to have.

My daughter attended the summer reading intensive and she really enjoyed it. The program was fun and not a lot of "work". The staff was great. We saw a huge improvement after this program. She is no longer "behind" in school and is working on grade level. I highly recommend this program and this school. It was worth driving an hour to get there and the amount of money that it costs.

At the Roig Academy you can expect for your child to have not only his/ her academic needs met, but in this friendly, family atmosphere every child feels special and loved.

Our journey with the Roig Academy began when my son was in fourth grade. I feel fortunate and blessed my son was able to attend The Roig academy. The Roig academy gave my son the tools and skill set to excel in his class but also be accepted to Columbus High school( Our 1st choice high school). I HIGHLY recommend the Roig academy, the school , staff and administration.

My son and daughter both attended Roig academy. It’s difficult to place into words the extraordinary gift of experience to be a student here. My son has dyslexia and he can now read and comprehend quite fluently and with confidence. He loved his teachers and his time at Roig and truly cherishes the learning skills and the friendships that he made. Roig gave him the tools needed to move into a wonderful high school and succeed My daughter struggled with learning even though we knew she was smart. Gus and Jenni Roig and all of the staff and teachers championed her. Thanks to everyone’s commitment she is now a confident and competent learner who will be able to achieve all that she envisions for herself. Roig academy is also parent friendly. You can speak with the school when your child needs nuanced support in any way. Gus and Jenni Roig are deeply committed to all of their families needs. I can honestly say that all of the Roig staff are wonderful. My children will always remember their teachers and their lives will be infinitely better for this experience.

The school is mid, some teachers are not qualified to teach in a special education environment. I forgot what I learned because of a lack of homework and practice. The staff is very nice and supportive. Problems in the school are always addressed and solved. You have a voice The staff will take into consideration any issue you have with the school .

For my dyslexic child this summer program was a place to have fun and get a self esteem boost, while remediating some of learning gaps that his public school experience had left him with. My child especially enjoyed the afternoon science activities. The teachers are top notch.

The Roig Academy was a home away from home for our son. He attended for four years, and always felt comfortable and valued. Jenni and Gus have crafted a warm, nurturing environment in which kids can excel, and are coached so they can continue to make gains in both skills and mindset. It is an exceptional school and we feel very lucky that it was part of our son's childhood.

We were trying to find the right Kindergarten for our son. We spoke to the Head of School Jennifer Roig at the Roig Academy. She could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. She spent over 30 minutes with us on the phone to understand the needs of our son. She identified his strength and weaknesses and was able to explain what steps we should take to maximize his potential. I would highly recommend any program lead by Jennifer Roig.
