I was SO nervous to send her to daycare but from her first day in the infant room I knew it was a great fit. Her infant teachers Ms. Sabrina and Ms. Kayla were the sweetest and you can tell how much they truly love their jobs and cared for my little one. I was so sad to have her move up to the Toddler room because I loved the infant teachers so much. Ever since moving to the Toddler room my girl is THRIVING! Her new teachers, Ms. Brandy and Ms. Caitlyn are amazing. You can see how much she is learning every day. Her communication skills are growing through sign language and speech. We get daily feedback from her teachers about everything from her emotions and moods to her eating habits during the day. I could not recommend TLE more than I already do. I am at ease all day knowing they are so well cared for at TLE. Every single teacher and staff member is kind, happy and good to my children. From the front office staff with Lori, Cassie and Emily, to Ms. Robin making lunches....Jennifer and Sam who were prior teachers until my oldest moved up to Joie and Vicky who handle 3 year old shenanigans all day with grace. The infant classes have spoiled my youngest with love to the point he jumps into the arms of Saleisa, Sabrina, Michelle and Pamela..... My son has been going since he was 3 months old. He’s been in both infant rooms and Pam, Salesia, Sabrina and Michelle all cared for him as if he were their own. I never had to worry about him because they created such a safe and loving environment for all the babies. We were sad to move to toddlers but they made the transition so smooth for him. And he’s still thriving due to the great foundation that they helped to create. I’ve had a baby attending since he was 7 weeks old and Pam, Salesia, Michelle, and Sabrina in his infant room have made the back to work transition so smooth. He always smiles when he sees them and they send plenty of pictures throughout the day so we know how he’s doing. We’ve been to several daycares with our other children, and this has been the best and cleanest one by far. ----- Author: Jerf Derkins Rating: 1/5 Date: 10/18/2022, 5:24:39 PM Review: Lesson learned, just because a facility is new doesn't mean it is good. This review is going to be long because I want to illustrate my perspective as a new parent. I am also a professional in a service industry so I am able to recognize how poorly executed this facility is. It boils down to poor management, specifically Jessica's attitude. I received a phone call letting me know the good news that there would be room for my daughter in the infant room. I asked when she would be able to start as my first day of my new job was dependent on this information. I was given a vague answer and told that they were "waiting on a shipment of new cribs to open the second infant room." I asked how many infants were in each room, and was told 4 infants to each room with 1 attendant in each room. I felt comfortable and accepted the spot from the wait list. I called several more times to confirm the start date for my daughter a few weeks in advance and was told the same thing "waiting on cribs" to arrive. When my husband toured the facility he said there were several cribs there so we weren't sure what the hold up was. Keep in mind, every time I contacted the facility to ask a question or clarify something confusing, Jessica always was the one who picked up the phone, with zero sense of professionalism, and transferred the call to Emily each time. The first day of drop off I was told by Emily at the front office how the key fobs work, and that she would assign one for my husband and give it to him when he picked up our daughter that day. Tell me why my husband was asking me if I had the key fob because Emily told him that she gave it to me that morning? Again, unorganized and confusing for something extremely simple. I decided after not even four days to pull her out because I found her lying on the floor screaming and crying near three other crying children and the attendants were clearly busy. When would she have been tended to and soothed? As I was taking her due to illness, I was told that she was "adjusting really well!" I let the facility know that I was taking her out of the program and to consider it my two week notice (which you still have to pay for even if they don't attend by the way). I was unable to get in touch with Jessica due to Hurricane Ian, and managing my child's illness, also quitting my job due to lack of quality care for my child. I called Jessica after the two week period to ask if I could turn in the key fobs and pick up my leftover supplies. As soon as I said that she immediately got defensive and told me they "left several voicemails and e-mails" and that it's not their fault if my supplies aren't there. Frankly, I didn't care about the supplies and would understand if they didn't have them. But considering that I was out of contact for maybe a week since they were closed for Hurricane Ian before and after, and the fact that I called several times without response, the attitude was unnecessary and unprofessional at best. For the record, I had zero missed calls, zero voicemails, and one missed e-mail reply. To avoid further conflict, I sent my husband to the appointment we set at 3:30pm that day with Jessica to sign a form, turn in the key fob and pick up supplies if they were there. When he arrived, she made sure she had someone else in her office, and simply flagged someone else down to give the supplies which were magically there since we had asked about them. Not once were we asked why we were leaving, for feedback, or enticed to stay. It was clear our daughter was just a number to this facility, not cared about and easily replaceable. It simply solidified my decision was correct as they are being run by an incredibly unprofessional manager, who does nothing to build your trust as a parent, and continues to act immature while being responsible for your children. Best decision I ever made was to take my child out of this facility.

The facility is always very clean, staff are friendly and supportive. You can tell they genuinely care about my child. I do want to shoutout one of my daughter’s teachers Ms. Brandy! There is an actual curriculum, and the kids are truly learning. They also have a great app and update it frequently with pictures and updates. The teachers and staff genuinely care, and I feel so secure dropping my two kids off in the mornings. I've been through two other childcare centers, and it is a night and day difference. The curriculum is well balanced and I love that they incorporate crafts and creative play. I also love the variety of food and weekly menus that they plan for the kids. He loves going to school which makes my mornings so much easier. Ms. Kiana, Ms. Tati are his current teachers and he loves them so much Ms. Brandy and Ms. Katlin too.He has learned so much since he first started with Ms. Alyssa and Ms Adriana who were his first teachers in Tod A. From his first steps to ABC’s and 123’s. The curriculum is well structured and developmentally appropriate for each stage of life. We’ve had great experiences with having Alyssa, Tati, and Kianna as her teachers. They treat her with love and she’s constantly learning new things. The daycare is not perfect but they try their best and address concerns as needed. Our girl has been going there since July 2023 and she is thriving. The curriculum is enriching and engaging. The communication is consistent. The staff members we encounter are always pleasant (even after a full day of wrangling tiny humans). Currently, her teachers are Ms. Kiana and Ms. Tatiana. Our daughter seems to adore her teachers and consistently comes home with new knowledge and skills. We are amazed at what our girl can do and how much she has grown. TLE is a big part of making that possible! Finally, our daughter is developing amazing social skills and relationships at TLE. It makes us happy to see her happy. The preschool is great and he’s learning how to write and now shows a strong interest in reading for the first time ever. The direction and leadership from his teachers has shaped him to be such a good boy🥹. We have been to a few centers in the area, the curriculum here is unlike anywhere else and they love the kids. We come from another childcare that only look after the babies to go through the day. This childcare, as the name says, it is a learning experience for children. They follow a curriculum, and as a teacher, I can see that the principal and her stuff are very aware on how to work and give experiences to the children for them to develop skills in the best way.
