I decided against enrolling my 6 month old for the following reasons: - I saw 2 reviews that are fake. The wording is VERY similar for both and they are both extremely long. Doesn’t make me feel better about enrolling an infant if they’re leaving fake reviews! Could have found more but didn’t even bother to keep reading through all of them. - made a post on FB and there are other parents who wouldn’t recommend this location. - the infant rooms are TINY, taken up by all the cribs. - no sunlight in the classrooms - on our tour, we saw little to no toys. What do the babies do all day? The schedule sounds nice but… - have to pay extra for early drop offs/late pickups on top of the expensive tuition! -pricing attached so you won’t have to waste my time like I did. I find it disappointing that daycares do not give pricing over the phone as I work 12 hour shifts and can’t come in to tour from the hours they are open. ----- Author: Carly Elber Rating: 5/5 Date: 12/9/2024, 6:29:56 PM Review: I couldn't be more thrilled with the care my infant receives at TLE Rivercrest. From the moment we walked in for the first visit, it was clear that this daycare provides a warm, nurturing, and safe environment for babies. The staff is incredibly attentive, and I feel at ease knowing my little one is in such capable hands. I am incredibly grateful for the care and attention my child receives from Ms. Magda at daycare. Ms. Magda has been warm, welcoming, and attentive to my child's needs since day one. She creates a nurturing and safe environment that encourages learning and growth. My child always smiles when he goes to daycare, reassuring me that they feel comfortable and supported. Ms. Magda fosters a love of learning through fun, educational, age-appropriate, interactive activities. I am so thankful to have such a caring and dedicated teacher for my child. Her positive impact has made this early learning experience a wonderful one. I couldn't ask for a better teacher. Also, I am so grateful for the excellent care and attention my child receives from Sophia. From the moment we started, it was clear that  Sophia is professional and genuinely cares about the children in their care. What stands out most is Sophia's patience, kindness, and approachableness. They always greet my child with a warm smile and provide individualized attention. My child adores Sophia, and I feel confident knowing they are in such caring hands. ----- Author: Allyssa Black Rating: 5/5 Date: 1/16/2023, 3:10:55 PM Review: TLE- Rivercrest is top notch both academically and in their love and care! As a teacher, I looked very carefully at curriculum when selecting a daycare because I knew it was important that my children were well prepared for K-5 school. TLE’s curriculum does not disappoint! I have no doubt that my 4 year old daughter will be ahead when she starts kindergarten. The teachers at TLE are practically an extension of our family for both our 4 year old and our infant. Our 9 month old has been attending since he was a few months old and he willingly leaves my arms with a huge smile on his face to go to his teachers because he loves them so much! I know they are both well cared for and have no worries when I drop them off for the day and I highly recommend TLE-Rivercrest!

Does this day care have monitoring cameras?

Yes

The reviews mention cameras are present but that they are not used for recording purposes and only allow live viewing from the office which isn't always allowed for parents. The availability of monitoring cameras is mentioned in conflicting ways.

Author: Jolie Suarez Rating: 1/5 Date: 2/17/2025, 10:33:38 PM Review: We had our child enrolled at TLE Rivercrest for about 5 months. I spoke with only one staff member during the enrollment process, who interestingly enough is one of the handful of staff members who left during our 5 months here. Touching on this point, in that few months, the location went through a number of staff changes without much if any transparency with parents as to why staff were leaving. The only knowledge I had of one teacher’s leaving was because I had complained about that teacher and was assured the teacher was on her last week at that location. After about a month I started noticing things I found odd; when I came to pick up my child, other children would often be crying, walking around with boogers dripping down their faces, hair in their faces, etc and no one was attending to them or even seemed to notice their very obvious needs. My child started getting very upset at drop off time after a couple of months had already gone by, during which I thought she had adjusted and we had developed a routine. I found that especially concerning as my child loves to play with other children and loves to spend time with friendly adults, even people we meet in passing. There were days my child would come home with very bad diaper rashes as if she had been left in a soiled diaper for hours. I addressed the diaper rashes and they opted to start using a diaper ointment, although at home that has not been necessary. We were told that the cameras do not record and are not available for live viewing, although you can go into their office and watch the cameras live if you would like to check on your child. I felt very unwelcome each time I asked to see the cameras. It was very tense and almost as if I was a manager watching over an employee’s shoulder. I am unsure if this was a personal issue staff had with me, given that I had made complaints to them regarding the care of my child and other children, OR if the staff were having issues amongst one another that I was unaware of (two members of that administration have now quit, one of which had been employed at this location for years). My child started coming home with injuries. We were told we would always receive an incident report if our child was injured while in their care. This turned out to be untrue. My child was coming home with very visible scratches on her face and arms that were clearly not self inflicted and some of which were so irritated it was clear they had drawn blood at the time of the incident. I started taking diligent photos of my child before drop off and after pickup to ensure I wasn’t missing anything and that I had proof of any wrongdoing. I brought photos of certain injuries to their attention on multiple occasions. A few days before we unenrolled our child, I noticed two marks that appeared to be bite marks. On the day we unenrolled her, the school reached out via text to let me know my child had been bitten on both arms by another child. In their words: “There is a particular child that she and he get very frustrated over certain toys and they hit each other.” Again, something I had been unaware of as nobody bothered to tell me until she had visible marks on her body that she had been having issues with a particular child or that she and this child had regularly been hitting each other. My child had FOUR *new* bite marks between her two arms. Again, aggressive enough that they left clear red bite marks HOURS after, and since then turned into bruises. It is INCREDIBLY disturbing to me that not a single teacher protected my child or stopped another child from biting her after bites #1, 2, or 3. FOUR? That is simply unacceptable and inexcusable. Ridiculous. The administration tried to excuse themselves by saying that “things like this happen in group care”, essentially “kids will be kids”. I wish I had known the true picture of what I was getting into before leaving my child in their care. I write this review not out of malice or revenge, but truly as a warning to fellow parents as I no longer trust them with my child.

I started send my son in 11/2023 and told them he is autistic and wanted to make sure they are able handle that. I was told yes and told they have cameras and etc. Things were going good but then a new teacher started after the new teacher I notice my son started acting odd. Then 1/31 I had my son tested for autism and he was on the spectrum. I shared this with the center and director. After this I started getting reports daily over stupid things and was getting concern, they were targeting my son. I called corp concern they reassure me this is not the case. Fast forward April 1 2024, I saw the police was at daycare when I went to go pick by 2 year old son up. When I walked through the doors the director was calling me about what was going on. I guess the teacher was aggressively handling my child and another parent saw it was super concern. The daycare DID NOT CALL THE POLICE! This parent sat there for 2 hours and were the ones that called the police. This daycare wanted the owner show up before calling the police. Even the police told me they were trying hide the incident. There are NO RECORDING for this because TLE does not record footage at all and only live fee and they don't tell you. This teacher was out of ratio 1 teacher to 21 kids during nap time. They didn't call me for 5 hours after this happened. My son had a bruise on his back. They told me at first Ms. Lacey was not being fired for it which was a lie! The director quit right after this. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!!

Couldn’t ask for a better place for my son to be. We chose TLE last minute based on the positive things we heard about the establishment and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The staff, cleanliness, the learning structure in the classroom all 10/10! But the true experience is SEAN! He is the epitome of patience, caring and nurture. The level of safety and comfort that he offers is unmatched and it’s made putting our 2yo in daycare an absolute breeze. He has become our son’s favorite part of the day and the first thing he asked for every morning. He’s excited to go to school and searches for him the second we walk in the door. I am so grateful to have him as a teacher in my son class and am able to walk out every day and know my son is in great hands. SEAN is the experience at TLE.

Ms. Brittany has been an outstanding teacher, making a meaningful difference in my daughter’s learning journey. Her patience, dedication, and supportive approach have helped my daughter grow both academically and personally. She has a special way of making lessons engaging and easy to grasp, which has strengthened my daughter’s confidence and love for learning. It’s clear that she truly cares about her students, and her passion for teaching shines through in everything she does. The positive impact she has made will stay with my daughter for years to come.

My kid didn’t start daycare until he was over 2, and by the point he was very hesitant and cried a lot at drop off. But with the help of Mr. Sean and Ms.BB, and others, he warmed up quickly and now runs to his classroom every morning. The loving nature of his teachers makes all the difference in the world.

We are so in love with this school for my son. I’m so glad that my son gets to have a wonderful black male role model like Mr. Sean to give him his education everyday. He is so excited to come to school, he’s starting to read numbers and letters while we’re out and about, as well as getting new words out to use with his everyday speech. I’m so satisfied to see my baby’s progress in the month that he has been here. Would highly recommend to any parents that are having a hard time trusting daycares/schools in general for their littles, The Learning Experience took all of my worries away.

Ms. Brittany has had such a positive impact on my son in such a short time! She’s communicated where he’s been struggling and we’ve worked together to help him improve. She’s a great addition to the team!

I would never recommend TLE Rivercrest to anyone. From day one, we had issues with our child’s care. Diapers were not changed timely, leading to frequent rashes, and proper hygiene was not maintained for an entire year. Our child was bitten six times in just two months by the same child, and despite repeated assurances, the situation never improved. We had to file a neglect report with the Florida Department of Children and Families, which resulted in the child’s removal—something that should have happened much sooner. The daycare’s app was unreliable, with missing diaper and food logs, and it repeatedly showed that our child was given meat despite clear instructions not to. The final straw was when my child was denied the food I packed and was instead offered something they wouldn’t eat, leaving them without a proper meal. They ate at 11:30 AM, and at 12:20 PM, I received a call from the owner saying they couldn’t give my child the fruit bar I packed because the label said “may contain tree nuts.” I have sent this bar multiple times before without issue, and all TLE centers are nut-free. The owner claimed it had to explicitly say “no nuts” or “may be manufactured on the same equipment,” but per the FDA, “may contain” and “manufactured on the same equipment” mean the same thing when nuts are not listed in the ingredients. My child was left with nothing to eat for lunch, despite being assured the previous week that they would provide an alternative if needed. I demanded he get the bar since they failed to give him something else, which they did an hour after lunch. The owners make inconsistent decisions, lack accountability, and seem uninterested in addressing serious concerns. Staff turnover is extremely high, and there is no proper documentation of care. The neglect and disorganization at this daycare are simply unacceptable. Avoid at all costs. Update: Per TLE’s reply, I emailed the concerns@tlecorp.com on 2/16 & 2/26 with no reply. Goes to show you how much they don’t care.
