As a parent, it is my responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of my children, and unfortunately, this daycare facility has failed miserably in providing a secure environment for kids. It is my duty to warn other parents about the negligence, discrimination, and overall lack of care exhibited by this establishment. First, I must address the discrimination that I witnessed at this daycare. It is disheartening to report that they do not treat all children equally. I observed instances on the WatchMeGrow camera app (in which I paid for a year subscription) where certain kids were favored while others were unfairly ignored or overlooked (hence my daughters fall later in this review). Discrimination should never have a place in any educational setting, especially one that caters to the innocence and vulnerability of young children! Furthermore, the daycare's aggression towards the children was distressing. I have witnessed via live camera instances where teachers pull children by one arm to seat them. The most recent incident that haunts me is the day my daughter suffered a horrific slip and fall accident while under the care of The Learning Center of Dr Phillips. Due to the daycare's blatant disregard for safety, my daughter was left in a hazardous situation that resulted in her needing stitches. The doctors have informed me that there is a high chance that this incident will leave a permanent scar on her forehead, which is devastating for both her and our family. The response of the daycare staff during this critical moment was utterly disappointing. Instead of promptly attending to my injured child, none of the teachers ran to her aid. It was my daughter who had to seek help from one of the teachers, displaying a complete lack of awareness and concern from the staff. When my husband and I spoke with the owner, she was extremely defensive at first. Upon reviewing the camera footage with her, we were both appalled by the loud sound of the fall and how it was ignored. After my daughters horrific fall and injury, I made the decision to IMMEDIATELY remove my children from their care. My husband and I asked the owner for a full refund (my daughter attended only two months) and in the beginning she refused, and then started negotiating? We felt as if we are negotiating or bidding on something. A refund of the two months would have been a minor percentage of the hospital bill. Not to mention the babysitting I’ll be receiving while finding a new daycare and the life time scar in the middle of my daughters forehead. I urge all parents to THINK TWICE when considering The Learning Center of Dr Phillips. I sincerely hope that by sharing my experience, other parents can make informed decisions and avoid subjecting their children to the potential dangers and neglect that I witnessed at this establishment. PS I tried posting pictures of my daughters scar, but it keeps getting taken down from Google. Also, the owners keep taking down my review, and this is my third time posting, as they do not want this to be exposed.

Great child care center!!
Our son has been attending this daycare since he was 1 year and 7 months old, and we couldn‚Äôt be happier with our experience. The staff is highly trained, respectful, and, most importantly, loving towards the children. The facilities are beautiful and safe, which is a top priority for us as parents. Even though we don‚Äôt live nearby, we gladly make the drive because we have peace of mind knowing our child is in a place where he is well cared for and truly happy every day. Sometimes life hits you and you experience hardship after hardship, as a single mother at times you find yourself feeling defeated. Having a school that extends grace and sympathy while you fight for your life means everything! Some schools are more concerned about the business instead of the child and family. This school is by far the best school that I have seen in over 20 years!! Why?!? Because they are extremely genuine and caring. They understand that life can happen to anyone!! They have a heart for kids and it shows. If you are looking for a school that extends grace and sympathy as a single mom! This school is for you!!

The Learning Center of Dr. Philips is a wonderful place for kids. The teachers and staff are kind, caring, and very good at what they do. My son loves going every day and has learned so much while having fun. The kids are always happy and well cared for. It’s clear that the staff works hard to make sure every child feels safe and included. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent!
