Author: Caryn Preston Rating: 1/5 Date: 9/2/2024, 11:27:52 PM Review: As a parent, I entrusted The Goddard School with my child's well-being and education, but my experience was extremely disappointing. One major issue is the high staff turnover and the school’s constant focus on maintaining ratios rather than providing consistent care. There was always a scramble to shuffle employees around to cover rooms, which made it difficult to trust who would be caring for my child each day. It felt like the owner was more concerned with maximizing profit than ensuring children had the consistent, familiar teachers they need—especially if your child has food allergies or other special needs. Another significant concern is the lack of proper cleaning and sanitization. My child and others fell ill repeatedly, and it seems this stems from the school's poor hygiene practices, and from shuffling employees from room to room. There’s no better way to spread the flu/pink eye/RSV through the entire school than by having teachers jump from class to class because there aren’t enough employees. While illness is common in daycare settings, it wasn’t until we switched to a different school that I realized how frequently we were getting sick at Goddard. Since leaving 3 months ago, we haven't been sick once. Additionally, the school's claims about their curriculum and regular updates through the Tadpoles app feel more like a marketing strategy than reality. I've witnessed firsthand instances where teachers stage activities for photos without actually engaging the children in meaningful learning. This is not the quality of education or care that I was promised. I understand that there aren’t many options for infant care in this area, so many parents may feel they don’t have a choice for children under a year old. But from experience, as soon as those children age out of the Goddard infant room, parents take their kids out and send them elsewhere. Overall, I cannot recommend The Goddard School based on my experience. I hope this review helps other parents make an informed decision.

Enrolling my daughter at Goddard was the best move! She enjoys every moment at school, thanks to the wonderful, supportive teachers and staff who truly love their work.
I really don't have any complaints, only positive things are what we have experienced at this school, my daughter loves it and we as parents couldn't be happier, they care a lot about the children and are always very kind. When my daughter started she didn't know how to speak English, because the language at home is Spanish and that was never a problem, everyone made an effort to communicate with her and for her to learn, her teacher Mister C, is the best, very attentive, kind and loving with my daughter, he is very professional and with him my daughter has learned too much. It really has been the best of experiences, there is nothing better than leaving your child in a place where you know they will be well and that makes their days happier. It is not the cheapest school but without a doubt every penny is completely worth it. I am very grateful to everyone for such excellent care.
We love this place they’ve taken such good care of our daughter. They always will answer if we have questions or concerns. They try their best and she’s learned so much.
Goddard school is the best!!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the caring and knowledgeable staff. The teachers are passionate about creating a nurturing environment where kids can grow, explore, and have fun. The curriculum is engaging and age-appropriate, blending structured activities with plenty of playtime to support social, emotional, and cognitive development.
If Goddard could just go ahead and make a K-12 school that would be great. I say this all the time, but I am going to be so sad when we leave Goddard. They have raised the bar for how I look at schools and how well they really work with you for the greater good of your child. Can’t we just start these past 5 years over?! Thank you for everything.
