If you’re looking for an amazing preschool, The Children’s Courtyard is your place! We’ve attended this school since my daughter was an infant, my son graduated VPK here as well. Both of my children have always been thoroughly cared for, loved and respected by not only their teachers, but other teachers in the building as well. We are so happy to have found this GEM in Oakleaf!! Thank you, The Children’s Courtyard for making sure both my children are safe when I cannot be with them!
I am very thankful for the wonderful and compassionate staff that work here. Communication is key and the staff here is very competent of doing so.
What a safe, clean place to bring your children. Staff is friendly and go out of their way to make everyone welcomed
Send your child somewhere else that is safe! Too many times I had to rush to the school to remove my child from her getting hurt. The teachers are mean to the children and have zero patience and the classrooms are also way too packed so they can never keep up with the kids. The curriculum is also horrible, don’t expect your child to learn anything. It’s not worth the price they charge and be prepared to still pay for sports, dance, unnecessary monthly fees, small events… nothing is included in the price.
Let me preface by saying that I gave this center numerous chances. More than I should have as my child’s wellbeing was not in the teachers best interest from the start, only the office staffs (at first but that was also short lived towards the end of our time there ) after witnessing (live on their camera feed) my daughter being neglected (left in a crib to cry for over 30 minutes) for the third time and also on the same day that she was bitten by a child and no one in management bothered to call me or even face me at pick up (the entire management team quite literally hid) I waited over 15 minutes for someone to come talk to me like an adult about both incidents that day. but no one ever did, nor did anyone bother to call and explain/apologize for the blatant neglect or even just check on my child to make sure she was ok. I knew it was time to leave. Yes I spoke to the regional manager, I had provided her with all the information and screen shots per her request, she admitted the guilt of the facility, and apologized on their behalf but after I let her know I reported the 3 incidents of neglect to DCF she stopped responding to my emails.
Daughter spent preschool- vpk here and the staff have always treated her like their own. I do not have to worry about her safety, what she’s hearing, and I know they have eyes on her. Teachers fill the students with joy and kindness, and at age three my daughter knew things I did not learn until 1st grade. I’ve looked at numerous other places that might benefit us financially however when your child actually enjoys their school, it’s worth it.
This daycare is extremely high. During my visit with the daycare in one of the classes i noticed a teacher snatching a fork out of a child’s hand. I was given several prices 277.00 a week is not affordable for single parents they even charging you to put your child in sports to practice in there clothing no uniforms at all. With elc you still paying 148.25 a week. VPK 8:30-12:30 with elf its 84.00. They giving different prices for different people. This school needs to be investigated.
Trashy.
I bring my granddaughter for VPK. I love the everyone from the front desk, teachers and Ms Missy who is in charge of the food. They are caring individuals who take care of her. The memories she has made this school year is priceless! Thank you all for opening up your hearts to us. You are greatly appreciated.!ü•∞
If you’re looking for childcare that is more than just a “daycare” you’ve found the right place. The staff here goes above and beyond knowing every family that walks in the door. My daughter looks forward to school days because she knows she will be loved and will learn new things every day. Ms. Annette in the 3 year old classroom is so PATIENT with these kids and so loving. It’s such a great feeling to see my daughter run to her teacher in the morning. All of the staff is great. The front desk, management Keisha Jane and Liz know every single kid and family by name. I’m so thankful we found this school. It makes leaving our girl while we are working so much easier.
