Author: MIREYA SANTELLI Rating: 5/5 Date: 3/26/2025, 12:59:49 AM Review: Dear Nancy Arita, As a fellow mother with a son at Children’s Courtyard at Dr. Phillips, I completely understand how important it is to feel confident in the care and education our children receive. That’s why I want to share my personal experience with Miss Beatriz and the school. Since my son has been in her class, I have seen nothing but kindness, professionalism, and dedication from her. She is an incredibly sweet and attentive teacher, and the way you described her does not match the person I know. I have also seen firsthand the incredible changes in the school since Miss Elsie and her team took over—they have worked tirelessly to improve every aspect of the learning environment. I also want to clarify something about the cameras. It is not possible for a teacher to activate or deactivate them. The cameras are always on, ensuring transparency and accountability. The school takes safety very seriously, and I know they would never allow any behavior that could put a child at risk. I am truly sorry that your son had a difficult experience, and I hope you have been able to find a place where he feels comfortable and happy. But as a mom with a child still here, I just wanted to share my perspective because I have had such a different experience. Wishing you and your little one all the best! ----- Author: Nancy Arita Rating: 1/5 Date: 3/25/2025, 12:38:24 AM Review: My son was attending Children's Courtyard at Dr. Phillips at the beginning he was with Miss Michelle and everything was amazing! unfortunately she left and they hired Miss Beatriz Ruiz since then my son start crying to go to class the first days of class she didn't activate the camera and I wasn't able to see why my son came with finger shape bruises in the face. My son started peeing in his pants at home when he is already trained to go potty. When finally I was able to see in the cameras I saw she was doing a activity where she didn't include my son. Adding to my son's nightmare there was a new kids that was harassing my son and others poor little girls every day. The Miss didn't seem putting to much attention. The day I withdraw him it was because my son was being kicked in the ribs for the same boy and the teacher even noticed I have already called early that morning because my son was hiding under the table because the other boy was annoying him and the teacher didn't do anything. Please parents watch more the cameras and see how your kids have been treated. There are more options to consider. ----- Author: kaylian ocasio Rating: 1/5 Date: 11/21/2024, 4:42:12 PM Review: On 11/14/2024 at 3:19pm I called Elsie Vera the current director of the children’s courtyard in the Dr.Phillips location for a total of 3 minutes in total was given to me to voice a serious concern I had in regards of the well being of my 2 year old, before she hung up on me and did not give me a solution to my situation. Being that this is in regards to a 2 year old child who is experiencing 2.5-3 year olds pushing, hitting, scratching, pinning down to floor along with snatching toys and throwing across the classroom potentially putting another child in danger. Not 1 incident report was filed not even a heads up, if I was not monitoring on the camera I would not have known all this is going on. I am HIGHLY disappointed Elsie Vera was not able to assist me in finding a proper solution to mine and my child’s problem being she is the “leader” figure of this school. My toddler is clearly being exposed to horrible traits and habits that is being shown to these older kids by the lack of patience the current teacher of the 2year olds Ms.Alexandra demonstrates to These kids as she raises her voice & is shown being aggressive in the way she picks up, grabs or redirects our small children that are now lashing out and turning my just turned 2 year old on 10/21 into a target. There are 4 older boys In the class about 2.5-3 years old who do not belong in this class being they are older, they are not being provided the proper lesson plans or learning environment. ----- Author: Asia Reyes Rating: 5/5 Date: 9/5/2024, 3:36:22 PM Review: My daughter has been attending this school for PRE-K and since she started it has been nothing but smiles and happiness. She adores all staff there as they treat her with kindness. Her teacher Ms. Stephanie & the assistants Ms. Julie and Ms. Michelle are amazing to her ! She also grew a good bond with the director Ms. Angie. The students are well behaved and she has made so many friends here. communication has been good and straightforward. & when it comes to concerns i have with my child or her care they hear me out fully and don’t make me feel bad for being a concerned parent. watching the cameras while my child is in class is helpful not only so i can monitor her, but I have also learned they really do implement the rules in the handbook to their classroom. I would recommend them to anyone looking for great comfortable care/schooling for your babies. ----- Author: Kevin Rating: 1/5 Date: 7/10/2023, 6:33:19 PM Review: Hadi's review is completely accurate. Our 20 mo has been coming here for a year. His first classroom was great with Ms. Sheila. She is a star and should be rewarded. The other 'caretakers' are barely present, overwhelmed, under prepared. The excuse is 'it's hard to find help'. This place has so much potential but our son had 3 incident reports in a month with head injuries, bites, bruises, falls, all of which could/should be preventable if teachers weren't sitting on the floor most of the day or on their phones. Parents have access to cameras so we see how little the caretakers are doing at any given time. Kids are ignored and left to fend for themselves. At under 2 years old they need more care and attention. How does this daycare have outbreaks of viruses including Hand,Foot,Mouth almost monthly? Because they don't wash their hands or sanitize between diaper changes. Health department should get involved. ----- Author: Anne Henry Rating: 5/5 Date: 10/26/2022, 1:02:16 PM Review: My daughter started attending this facility (formerly Kiddie U) when she was 6 months old, and she is now over 2. We loved that it was a small, family-owned business and when they were bought out by Children’s Courtyard we had some concerns. However, we have continued to be pleased with the quality of care since the transition! Our daughter is absolutely thriving in the 2 year old classroom, and comes home every single day having learned something new. Ms. Denise, the director, is very hands on and jumps in when needed (lead by example type!) and Ms Gladys and Ms. Stephanie who are our current teachers are fabulous. My daughter runs into their arms every morning. They keep us very updated on activities, menus, and diapering, and I love the picture updates we get throughout the day. We also utilize the camera in the classroom which is a nice when I’m missing my girl. We are excited to continue to see our little one learn here, and to add another family member to the Children’s Courtyard mix early next year.

Highly recommended! I was ready to take my daughter out of the daycare, and decided to give it a try since they have a new Director. I’m glad I didn’t because you can see the changes and the service it’s excellent. It feels like now they know what they are doing. Elsie is very attentive and professional. You can actually express your concern and she listens and takes action.

There were good people working here and our daughter had some good memories and fun times here. However it ended badly with the Director here hanging up the phone on me after being completely rude and nasty and was an awful/ took no accountability when I called with a legitimate complaint!!! This school has completely ignored a few of my simple requests as a parent regarding my child’s medical needs and when I called to ask why they ignored my instructions to send her things home on a daily basis, and kept her medication at the school over the weekend, keeping my baby from being able to use her needed medication. Instead they played the victim, acted like I was yelling at them, hung up on me, and then refused to answer when I called back while my child is in their care!!!!! Completely unprofessional and I would also guess illegal!!!! On top of this, they cut access to the camera intentionally so I could not see my baby at the same time they actively dodged by calls. Made me feel like they were kidnapping her!!!! they will charge you for sick days, holidays, all the days your child isn’t even there while they take your money and disrespect you! This “Director” even had the audacity to demand i “respect her” while I was voicing my concerns that she was absolutely NOT listening to!! Elsie should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY 🔥!!!! cutting my access to the app so I can’t see my child!! This caused me Severe stress and worry for my child Elsie is incredibly rude and unprofessional/ uncaring !

I too agree with the great satisfaction that the changes have made for most parents. We’ve been thru much but hopefully now we’re set with the new administration and teacher! We appreciate your dedication and good works on behalf of the little ones! Shout out to Elsie and Michelle!

We as a family have had a roller coaster ride with this school. But today I can say that of the best decisions to "stay" has been the best. Since the arrival of Ms. Michelle, Ms. Elsie and Ms. Hellen it has been a blessing. From the beginning when we enrolled our son here we have always counted on our angel who has been Magalys and without Ms. Stephanie I can say that they have been the support and guides of this school. Thanks to each and every one of you and all the staff who have made this school a great improvement. Elsie special THANL YOU for taking the helm. As a Mother I am so grateful for you and your amazing team right now.

I have noticed a great change from about a month ago. I believe this place is under new management and the new director along with new teacher on toddler 1 room are making a difference. I feel very confident my little girl is under good care while i work.
