Sweet people.

When I first moved back to Tampa I had to board my yellow lab for a couple of weeks while I got settled in. The staff was very friendly and made sure to send me pictures of my dog playing and enjoying herself. I would definitely board my dog here again if the need arises

Highly recommend. From the minute I walked in the man explained to me how everything works and where my dog would be. They genuinely care for each dog like their own and give them so much attention. I got so many updates and I felt so good knowing that my dog was having fun and being loved on. I’m so glad to have found somewhere that I feel more than comfortable leaving him when I travel.

My first experience with this business was amazing!. I am a proud owner of 4 fur babies and I am always looking for the best care for them. This small business genuinely cares about their customers and knows what's best for pets. It is unique that it used to be a regular house but my girls were never put in a small cage. I got plenty of photo updates during their stay that made my heart melt. Drop off and pick up was very easy they block off the front desk area and let my dogs come to me to get their leashes. Every person I spoke with was thorough, caring and knowledgeable. Not to mention their AMAZING pricing.

Dave, Maria and the Staff are always helpful with questions & anything I need. I'm always greeted with a warm welcome. Their Check- in system is precise and personal; They take their time with all the needed details about each pet. For an added bonus, I receive progress reports of videos and pictures of both pets everyday , which makes me laugh. It's my 2nd time bringing my Cat and Dog, it's a Blessing l can breathe easily and not have to worry while on Vacation knowing both of them are in safe hands.

It’s hard to find someone that cares as much about our pups as we do, but Dave and Maria definitely do! We’ve been leaving Keto and Koda with them for over 5 years now and love that we can rest assured that they are being cared for. Knowing that they are having just as much fun on their stay as we are makes our vacations that much more fun and we can’t imagine having them stay anywhere else! Even when the hotels or AirBnb allows it, we still opt to drop them at The Barkery!

The owners are fantastic, pwrfect location for me anyhow, good price, great hours, very flexible and post on intstagram and Facebook so I can see my pup and his antics during the day❤️

The Barkery is the only kennel we take our 13 year old Maltese . We’ve tried several in the area and this is by far the best we’ve found. He’s treated like he’s one of the family! Thank you Dave and Maria and staff for doing such a great job!

We have been taking our dog to this place ever since we got her and we love it!! Dave, his wife and the staff just love dogs and it shows. They know which dogs go together, which are better apart and they take tons of videos and pix you can see. There has never been a single dog incident I am aware of at this place - that's how well they know and manage all the pups. They also alternate between outside time and downtime so it's a good mix each day. My dog loves going to "school" and runs to the car when its time. If we playback a video and she hears the workers voices she gets so happy! Doggie daycare really helps with her energy levels and mischief around the house. I think their prices are more than fair and if you live in Lutz/Odessa it's easy to get to. Just make sure you are careful going in and out with the schools nearby (kids go flying down the sidewalk and its hard to see). This place is not fancy and your dog will be dusty when you pick them up, but you can rest assured they are treated like family when they are there!
