I've been working for Tender Care for a little over 2 years and I can positively say that I love being here. Everyone working here truly loves and cares for children. The staff go above and beyond in the Care for the children.

This happened all last year. My daughter has Celiac Disease and gluten can give her stomach pains, this information was clearly presented at the time of admission. People ended up feeding her gluten on several different occasions and the daycare seemed indifferent about the situation and brushed it off. Just because you can’t see the allergic reaction doesn’t mean it’s not causing her pain. Later on, my daughter had apparently been vomiting almost everyday for weeks and this was withheld from her daily report and was I never notified by the nurses. I would only find out IF I asked why she was wearing different clothes when she got home. They also, without my permission or even asking me, decided to put her in therapies that were not relevant to her and she clearly did not need. I’m assuming they were just trying to charge insurance and get extra money but either way I should’ve been informed BEFORE they did that. My daughter has a lung disease and is not suppose to be around smokers, even after they just smoked and it’s on their clothes. I’ve gone there several times and could smell cigarettes on a variety of their employees that were with my daughter. This place did not take me seriously whatsoever, probably because of my age and constantly made me feel inadequate. My daughter has a full medical team that has known us for her whole life and they are consulted almost every week about everything that goes on. they received a questionable and rude call from the daycare, whatever was said had flustered the medical team to the point where they suggested that I pull my daughter out of the daycare completely. This daycare was perfect for the first couple weeks and seemed like a great fit and the concept is good but underneath it’s really not that helpful. They caused us more problems instead of helping. Not only did we have equipment and bags broken my daughter ended up having severe stomach issues from however they were bolus feeding her and just letting her throw up so long without informing me so I can get it addressed by an actual doctor. Home nursing has been infinitely better, I know exactly what my daughter is doing and how she’s being treated versus never knowing who is actually taking care of her at the daycare. There were more smaller incidents that would take too long to write. I can let one time things slide because accidents happen but even when I tried to have the problems addressed they would never accept responsibility and make excuses. The place is just off and super odd.
