I wanted to give this school a chance but after speaking to owner Steve he was extremely rude ,pushy ,seem agitated,and has a very condescending tone …why would you be that way to Someone seeking to place their child here ..HUGE NO extremely disrespectful and disappointing to say . Edit for the reply...thats somewhat true you did explain that but it was very confusing if it was first come with everything gets the spot or we wait til the other families tour and when I misunderstood that’s when the tone was more rude..and you felt it ..I really was disappointed because when i first came to that school you was extremely nice ,it maybe was just a bad day and I understand that but it was not professional
I had heard wonderful things from parents in the neighborhood about this school and I reached out about two years ago but they were full and we were not quite ready to send the children to daycare. When things took a turn for the worse at the preschool we were attending I reached out and got extremely lucky there was space. The owner was wonderful in making me feel comfortable with sending my children to this school. I love that there are events that involved the parents and are life enriching. I loved the set up of the playground and the classrooms. I really loved seeing that the teachers were bilingual and communicated to the children in both English and Spanish. We are an English speaking household and it was nice to see my 3yo twins speaking Spanish words. I love that they say a prayer before meals and my children do it at home also. I see a huge difference in their development in the short time they have been attending. Sending my children to Steve’s Academy was the best decision I could have made.
