My child personally had people that truly cared for her here, but the owners are money hungry fools. Not reporting employees that physically abused kids and not wanting to inform parents. Should’ve believed an employee when they warned me about them. Mark and Jen are wolves in sheep clothing.

The owners are very reasonable and the teachers are kind and attentive. We are very happy with our experience at Step by Step.

My son went here for a year and we truly enjoyed the experience and staff at this daycare. The staff treated my son like family and the owners are always available for questions. Never once did I worry about my son while he was at daycare. My son came home happy every day. Unfortunately we had to move so we had to switch to a different daycare. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a daycare in Gainesville.

This is my child’s happy place! All of the teachers know the children well, even if they are not the primary teacher. I appreciate feeling at ease knowing my son is loved and cared for every second he is in their care. He has advanced so much socially and academically since starting here. I would recommend Step by Step to anyone looking for an all-around 5 star experience!

My family has had a 4+ year relationship with Step by Step. One boy has attended from age 3 to Kindergarten (and during school breaks) and we started our youngest at just 3 months old. He is now 3. We love all of the staff and owners of Step by Step. Prices = 5 stars. Cleanliness = 5 stars. Friendliness = 5 stars. Attention to children = 5 stars.
