My son is currently in the VPK program with Mrs. Lorena and he loves her and going to school everyday. My daughter will be going next year and she cannot wait. (She is so excited everyday to see Mrs. Lorena when we drop off and pick up her bub) My son has learned so much already being here, I love how hands on they are and that the class sizes are smaller. They also have cameras in the classrooms and outside so that I can see what he is doing throughout the day. Their communication is great and I love getting pictures of my baby while hes is in school. I cannot say enough about how amazing this school is. We are so happy that we chose them!!! ----- Author: Theresa Elliott Rating: 5/5 Date: 2/12/2022, 1:44:46 AM Review: Awesome preschool. My granddaughter has gone there since she was 12 weeks old, now 16 months. She started with Miss April and is now with Miss Chloe. We love them both and they love her. Trish and Amanda are also great, pretty much the entire staff! I also love the "Watch Me Grow" program, cameras in each room where I can login at any time and see what baby girl is up to. I wouldn't want to take her anywhere else. ----- Author: Dana Birosak Rating: 5/5 Date: 2/11/2022, 10:07:36 PM Review: After a negative experience at another daycare, I enrolled my two year old son at STEAM. His teacher, Ms. Sam, is absolutely amazing and he loves going to school to see her. All of the staff are amazing and take such great care of my son. Having cameras in class and in the playground is also great!

Terrible Experience at This Daycare – Do NOT Trust Them With Your Child's Care I wish I could give this daycare zero stars. The level of negligence and incompetence I experienced with my daughter’s care was beyond unacceptable. Over multiple occasions, I picked her up only to find that she had been sent home in NO underwear or diaper under her clothes—whether it was jeans, leggings, or sweats. This happened more than once. To make matters worse, there were three separate times where they left her in the same diaper all day. I know this because I would draw a dot on the diaper that I put on her in the morning. I always provided them with a whole pack of diapers that would easily last over a week, plus I made sure she had at least five in her bookbag every day. Yet, they couldn't even manage basic diaper changes. They also lost my daughter’s clothing on several occasions. Jackets, hoodies, pants, shirts, socks, even her shoes—how do you lose a child’s shoes?! It's baffling that such a lack of responsibility was allowed to continue. But perhaps the most outrageous incident was when I brought in a brand-new pack of diapers and wipes before a trip to New York. We were gone for a week, and when we returned, the pack was completely gone. How did they manage to go through an entire pack of diapers and wipes when my daughter wasn’t even there? When I asked about it, I was met with excuses and gaslighting—they claimed they didn't remember me bringing anything in before our "little trip." That was exactly how it was said. As a working mom, I rely on daycare to take proper care of my child, and it’s infuriating that they were so careless with my child’s necessities. Diapers and wipes aren't free, and their disregard for my daughter's resources and basic hygiene is unacceptable. Every time I brought these issues up, the staff brushed it off with a half-hearted apology and a free week of daycare, as if that would make up for their incompetence. Anytime I asked to speak to the director’s boss, I got ridiculous excuses like, “We don’t have her phone number,” or, “We can’t guarantee we’ll relay the message.” What kind of daycare isn’t even in contact with their boss? It’s clear that the teachers and the director at the time, Jody, (I know she no longer works there) were incapable of properly running the facility. But Jody leaving actually didn't improve anything because on my daughter's very last day in that daycare, when Jody was no longer the director, the teacher left her in the same diaper from 8 am to 5:30 pm. Their lack of accountability and professionalism is shocking, and I highly recommend staying far away from this place if you care about your child’s well-being.
I initially put my child in this preschool because of how great they advertised themselves. The tour was GREAT! They were doing a puppet show, they had a foam machine outside for the kiddos to play in...little did i know this was nothing that it seemed to be. They do not interact with the children, in fact there has been multiple times i have witnessed my child be hit by another child or children. There also is a teacher that is alone with multiple children that doesn't even speak English(how do you redirect English speaking children if you do not speak the same language??) He was super excited to go the first couple of days, and then everything went downhill, it was a struggle to leave him in the mornings due to him freaking out. There is no structure at this school. In fact the teachers sit during the whole day and let the kids do whatever. There has also been multiple times throughout the day the children are watching a tablet for ling periods of time. No wonder my child developed behavioral issues while attending this school! I would never recommend this school to anyone.
The love these ladies and gentleman have for your babies is unmatched! It’s so hard to pick a place to take your babies and they made it so easy to trust them and they treated my little girl as if she was one of their own! We will miss them so much! <3
Our son has been going to STEAM since he was 4 months old. He is currently in the two year old room. His teacher keeps the room very clean and structured. She is very loving and comforting when he’s having a rough morning. He spends 8-9 hours a day, 5 days a week. We are very thankful for all of the teachers he’s had. We are put as ease knowing he’s in good hands.
Since my nephew started in Ms. Lorena's class, I've never seen him so excited about learning. He brings his artwork home and talks all the time about how his teacher showed him how to write his name and learn his letters. He seems genuinely happy there, which is saying a lot for him.
