We like how there is a daily chapel service and lesson. These children have access to many wonderful things like a new observation deck along the river for science & sea life observations; Art, music and learning different instruments are also an integral part of the curriculum. We also like that there is PE everyday for the children to exercise and enjoy fresh air. Our girls in particular enjoyed what STEAM had to offer. And when Starbase came to them for a fieldtrip, that was extra special. Our older daughter just graduated from the 6th grade there this month. While there were Covid restrictions in place, we understood but were sad that we couldn't partake/or volunteer in the classroom this year. But there is a strong PTO presence here, and they made sure that this would be a very special year for them,(while abiding to safety rules), and the traditional send-off would be how it always has been. It sure was indeed special. We will miss this 'family' atmosphere for our older daughter, but we look forward to honoring traditions and keeping programs alive for others to enjoy. St. Mark's has a lot to offer!

I was an employee for St Mark's Academy about 16yrs ago. I was a Preschool assistant. I had the most wonderful and rewarding experience there. I went into State Corrections due to family needs. I hope one day to return to my holy home. Most forfilling experience to return too.

Great small Christian school that offers starting at K3 not only the 4 core classes, but many related arts including, music, Spanish, art, PE (EVERY DAY), library, and the STEAM lab (science lab)! The also offer extracurricular activities such as sports, the glee club and many more! Small class sizes give children extra attention needed to excel! We love SMEA!!
