There is no consistency, always have problem with the ratio and would leave the baby crying for long time even when for some silly reasons like decorating the classroom. They also combine infant classes so often so more chance to get sickness. They recently changed the director and she seems struggling so much and not able to do her job like she is supposed to do. I do not recommend this place for your baby.
Is this day care considered safe?
Yes
Many reviews highlight the daycare's safety features, security measures, and the prioritization of children's safety.

This is our second year here, and we have loved it from day one. Every teacher my son has had has been excellent—so caring and loving with him. I was especially touched by how, in the first few days, when he would cry as I dropped him off, the teachers would hold him and comfort him with so much love. That level of care is hard to find. I highly recommend this school 100%! Your children will be in a safe, clean, and beautiful environment with amazing teachers who have so much love to give. This is my son’s last year at St. Anne, as he will be moving on to Pre-K at another Catholic school, but I want to express my deepest gratitude to his teachers—Ms. Courtney, Ms. Erin, Ms. Alison, and Ms. Angel—as well as the entire administrative team. We will miss you all! ----- Author: Rebecca Rains Rating: 5/5 Date: 3/21/2025, 4:56:58 PM Review: Our family loves this center! The security and safely of the children is number one priority. St. Anne was literally the easiest decision my wife and I ever had to make regarding our daughter. This was in part for 3 main reasons: safety, accessibility and core values. While we shopped around many different care facilities for our then 11 month old daughter, many had in my opinions a significant lack of safety and entryway safety. St Anne immediately stood out to us for in that they exhibited an incredible amount of safety and security for their facility. They have a multi faceted process utilizing infrastructure and technology for enhanced safety and safety procedures. It was an eye opening experience compared to the other facilities we had toured. Being first time parents and deciding to move forward with a child care facility is nerve wrecking enough and seeing what St Anne offers gave us peace of mind. St Anne offers incredible accessibility, they offer an app free of charge to download to your mobile device which offers an incredible insight into your child’s care and the their day to day; Open communication between your teacher and daily photos of your little one. This was a game changer and I truly never can imagine going somewhere else without this tool! It is such an impact for parents! Lastly is core values. Being associated with the archdiocese I knew exactly what environment and core values my daughter would be exposed to. This was a critical decision as in today’s climate there is a radical melting pot of opinions of the direction of our children and indoctrination of what our children should be exposed to and there is a peace of mind knowing that our faith and Catholic core values are aligned here. Prayer and educational development are paramount at St Anne’s and it is evident not only with our interactions with our now 18 month old but interacting daily with the teachers and the director -Maria who are all amazing! ----- Author: Sharareh Drury Rating: 5/5 Date: 5/7/2024, 9:00:22 PM Review: My daughter went here for a little under a year (we were here short term while my husband did a fellowship) and I cannot recommend St. Anne highly enough. All the teachers here are so kind, thoughtful, and caring. They have fun projects, holiday festivities, safe playgrounds, and also a large indoor space to play when the weather in Florida isn’t so great. Truly appreciate everything St. Anne provided for my little one. She was smiling ear to ear in every photo I was sent during the day, and I could tell she loved her teachers and classmates. The school has an app that keeps you up to date on activities, diaper changes, meals. I always knew what was going on with my little and that helped me so much when I missed her. This is a wonderful, safe and caring place for your little one to go!

Anderson Rating: 5/5 Date: 2/20/2025, 8:15:30 PM Review: Our daughter has now been at St. Anne's for over a year following a transfer from O2B and has been in two classes (August transitions to the next level). This has been night and day for our child! She feels loved and enjoys going to school. While we are not catholic by faith, we know our child is being taught good principals in addition to following a good curriculum. Timing: 5/5 Their hours work very well for a common work day. The drop off must occur by 9am to ensure it doesn't disrupt the class. We love how they place this emphasis on routines as studies have proven their importance. Cleanliness: 5/5 Always very clean both in classrooms, common areas, toys, etc. Their standards for handwashing are superior to other learning centers and our daughter has been sick significantly less than in the past due to these standards for cleanliness and hygiene. Kindness: 5/5 Administration/management sets the tone and they keep their standards high, makes for a great environment both at the front office and in the classrooms. Feedback is always welcome and accepted (and acted on with communication) Teachers: 5/5 We have been blessed with Ms. Angel and Ms. Carolyn as our girl's teachers and they showed her what it is like to be loved by a teacher. Low turn over of teachers which has made things very stable. Teachers are also held to a high standards and keep it well ensuring safety, structure, kindness, and learning. (Carolyn and Angel teach 3-year-olds) Policy: 5/5 Rules are critical to development and they uphold their policies very well. I particularly like their policies surrounding discipline which have assisted in teaching our daughter how to deal with new emotions she is feeling as well as how to kind and loving to those that are different than ourselves. Curriculum: 5/5 We are happy with this category. Our daughter's grandma is kindergarten teacher at oak hall and she is also impressed with the difference she saw when we transferred to St Anne's. Our girl tests well and her heart is also developing into a kind and generous one. Safety: 5/5 There are finger scanners at the doors and their rules regarding who can be entered into the system are strict to ensure safety which is more important to us than convenience. Any time there is an incident (even a bump) her teacher gives us a direct call and fills out a form. I do wish that the playgrounds were not so visible to the street, but that has never been an issue. Communication: 5/5 The app is great and they provide multiple daily updates AND pictures. Their verbal communication is far superior to many other centers we toured/were at both from teachers and from Administration. I have full confidence that any issues that may come up, I could take to anyone and see immediate action. Leadership: 5/5 Maria is amazing. She is calm in situations regarding safety and always thinks of the kids first. She is creative and fun, you can see the kids know exactly who she is as she makes herself present in the classrooms. Rachel also meets this high standard that Maria has set and they work very well together. She is adaptable and you can she is always trying to improve the center and adapt to the needs of kids/families. Activities 5/5 Holiday parties, weekly water days in the summer, teacher appreciation weeks, Fall/Spring school pictures, parent appreciations, new crafts, new toys, fire fighter and truck visits, soccer shots on mondays, and more. Creativity and making memories is certainly a focus of additional activities and well worth it. Price: 4/5 Compared to the larger chain schools, their prices are great. We gained so much in switching schools, including saving over $200/month which we got to put back into our family. Keep in mind, this is an excellent facility with excellent staff, you will not find anything of "cheap quality" here, so don't expect the cost to be "cheap". You get what you pay for! Conclusion: We will be staying at St. Anne's as long as possible. They hold standards high which is critical for us as we entrust them with her safety and development.

Not only was I racially profiled by the the management but also the “management” showed a complete disregard for proper security measures. As someone who’s career solely focuses on children, I would expect a safe and respectful environment for my niece or these children all in all but instead, I was treated with suspicion based solely on my appearance. To make matters worse, the facility does not seem to prioritize basic security protocols, which is deeply concerning for any parent entrusting their child to a daycare. This experience goes against the values of fairness, equality, and safety that should be at the heart of any Christian establishment. I cannot in good faith recommend this daycare to anyone.

St. Anne’s was a godsend when our 2.5 year old was not doing well emotionally at another local school. We love Ms. Allison, Ms. Courtney and Maria (the director). I really enjoy the detailed lesson plans I get weekly from Ms. Ally. I’ve seen my daughter progress rapidly with learning how to express herself by identifying emotions, counting in English and Spanish, and now working on letters. As a Catholic family we appreciate how they incorporate prayer and bible lessons every day. Communication is fantastic through the Brightwheel app down to how much she ate as well as bathroom info. They helped us potty train our girl which I was very thankful for! We are so pleased that we will be sending our new baby there too with Ms. Courtney. Maria has always been available for any questions or concerns our family has had. We are happy with St. Anne’s!
We’ve been sending both of our children here since moving to Gainesville FL in January 2024. Overall, we’ve had a wonderful experience! St. Anne’s has a safe, nurturing environment for your children to thrive.
St. Anne Early Learning Center is amazing! Maria is a fantastic director, and the staff truly cares about the kids. They create a loving and nurturing environment where children thrive. Couldn’t ask for a better place!

St. Anne's is absolutely the best learning center in Gainesville and worth every penny!! My son was 2 years behind on development prior to starting St. Anne's and because of his wonderful teachers and staff, my son writes better than my 11 year old and is kindergarten ready. And we absolutely love Ms. Maria. She runs the center like it's her own and keeps these children safe! I have no worries or fears while my son is in her care.
We’ve had a wonderful experience with St. Anne’s. Our son started here when he was about 15 months old. After keeping him home during his first year, we were initially nervous about transitioning to daycare. However, the staff at St. Anne’s has been incredibly supportive and accommodating throughout the entire process. There were some early challenges—like adjusting to the provided meals and getting comfortable being left without mom or dad—but the director and teachers have worked patiently and consistently with him. We are to the point where he asks every morning to go see "his teachers and all his friends." Both toddler classrooms follow structured lesson plans and keep the children engaged with fun, hands-on activities like Play-Doh, painting, coloring, and block building. We really appreciate that they keep us updated on his developmental milestones and work hard to ensure he continues progressing in each area. As someone who thoroughly researched every daycare option in this town, I can confidently say that we made the right choice with St. Anne’s.

I was especially touched by how, in the first few days, when he would cry as I dropped him off, the teachers would hold him and comfort him with so much love. That level of care is hard to find.
The teachers are lovely. Our daughter looks forward to going to school every day and adores her teachers.
My son has been going to St. Anne Early Learning Center for almost a year now. We love it!!! We appreciate getting live updates about how he is doing, and it really feels like a family, everyone is friendly and kind. Shout out to Ms. Keyah who is the best!!
My son has been at st. Anne’s for VPK and has had an overall positive experience. There was a small hiccup getting started however the director was able to make a change for me accommodate. The teachers have been helpful and involved. When there has been widespread illness, concerns or even new teachers/floaters in the school messages are sent out to all which I appreciate knowing what is going on. I plan on sending my daughter as well when she turns 3.
