Author: Yeitza Cirino Rating: 5/5 Date: 9/5/2023, 3:01:28 AM Review: From the first day, the director too friendly. I speak little English and she very kindly looked for a way with the translator to be able to understand each other better… Very professional, she always has a smile with everything and I see that she spends too much time at work. I have seen her working many hours every day and her face is always the same and cordial. My experience in the short time my daughter has been there is a 10/10. And the facilities too. I like that they have a security camera. And that they send me photos almost every day of my daughter and her activities that she does with her, that gives me a lot of peace while I'm not around her. Thank you again and again Southside KinderCare and employees. Att. Chloë Mommy.

My daughter was attacked and all the staff lied and said it happend in her sleep Then later came back n told the truth my experience was horrible
My son has been in KinderCare since Dec 2023 in south Florida . When I let that director know we were moving she called Southside for me. When we got here on day one - they came outside excited to meet him . My son absolutely loves coming here and adores all the teachers - the director Ann has been a delight and caring of the children in her facility from the first day I arrived . The work they do with the kids I wouldn’t be able to do alone . Much appreciated and it truly does take a village to care and raise a kid .
Between two kids and three cross country moves, we’ve been through quite a few daycares to include other KinderCares. This kindercare is by far the best daycare either one of my kids have ever been to. I am so impressed with how they handle everything. The classroom teachers are ALWAYS happy and treat my daughter the way that I would. We love this Kindercare
What Ann and Tiffany have done to make this a top notch place is astounding. As first time parents we’ve been all nerves and these 2 have gone above to show our lil one all the care and attention possible. We’ve been so fortunate to have them in our lives and can only say great things about their leadership. They’ve addressed issues promptly and effectively while always taking ownership, never passing the buck. I look forward to their continuing success to making their location the best daycare in Jax for all! Thank you so, so much!
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD IN THEIR CARE! Your child is basically in danger. We were there for about a month. Things started out okay but quickly went downhill. Seems things get out of control when the main director isn’t there. After only a few days my son started coming home with all sorts of scratches, bite marks and scars. They were mostly unexplained. The children are watching themselves in there. They are understaffed and instead of letting people know they allow your child to come anyway to take your money. They don’t even have basic communication down. When you walk in sometimes they don’t speak or even acknowledge that you are there. The other “director” doesn’t do anything except walk around telling other people to clean, giving dirty looks, cussing around the kids and texting on her phone. Didn’t even know who she was till we were getting out of that place. Never seen her lift a finger to help until we left the facility. I feel so bad I ever took my son here. We were at Arlington Kindercare before and never should have left. This place has no events, calendar, curriculum or even directors present consistently. They do not update the system with pictures or anything because it’s a free for all in there. I was stressed at work everyday wondering if my baby was in there fighting for his life and he was! This place couldn’t even get my son to take a nap so they are not trained for this at all! Arlington gets him to sleep for an hour plus everyday. Just picking up people that need a job. There was one girl in there that was amazing. She’s holding that place together. They also had no business raising rates. The main director is really nice but most of her staff needs to go. I’m curious how there hasn’t been any inspections of this facility. Please avoid this facility and don’t bring your baby here to keep your sanity.
Anyone that is sending their child to the facility should have some serious concerns. They are severely understaffed. My family had an incident at this facility yesterday that has raised some serious concerns, first with the staff that they employed clearly they are improperly trained to handle sensitive matters. Employee cursing out paying clients and boldly stating it doesn’t matter how they talk to you, yet expect you to just listen to them through their foolishness. Make up false accusations of sickness because they do not want to keep your child yet wants to receive your funds. Try to improper enforce their rules and regulations. All while having no adult supervision within multiple rooms. People pay they decent money to insure their child is being properly care after. However find out their child is watching over themselves. I was at the facility yesterday to express my concerns about my grandchildren (we have two that attended this facility) because my daughter was unable to get off work, after multiple failed attempts for any of their staff responding to numerous calls made by my daughter to speak to supervisor after learning her husband got cursed out in front of staff and parents, and children all for trying to drop off my granddaughter who they claim was sick but was cleared from the doctor the day before. My son in law is a respectable young man and will never disrespect a woman no matter the situation. Of course my daughter and her husband concern is the safety of their children after this display unprofessional behavior. Only for me and my mom who is 67 Christian woman to go up there only to find out multiple rooms (4) where left unattended with large number of children left alone. There was only one teacher in the infant room (Thank God because anything could have happen in any moment with an infant) during the incident there was only four staff members in the facility now where they was while I was peeping in the windows at the door of the room trying to locate a member of their staff is beyond me. I was there about 7/10 minutes before I actually spoke to anyone. I must give acknowledgment to the teacher in the infant room very Professional and helpful trying to find someone to assist me. This lady deserve a raise. And should be the trainer to all their employees on customer service. When my daughter finally got to talk to the manager of the facility she was told her that me and my mother was completely drunk and was smelling loudly of alcohol and weed. This is completely laughable, one she wasn’t up there and second I do not drink or smoke anything. I absolutely hate the stuff and the smell of it. In my 49 years of life you couldn’t find either in my system. My mother doesn’t curse, smoke , or drink and never have in her life. Deframation of both my mom and my character. All because they are trying to paint a picture out of control monsters because of the numerous violations I point out about their facilities. They should have called the cops while we was there if that was the case. Another point to point out of their lack of protecting your children. But nothing of the sort happen of course and no cops was called on us. No worries the news, state of Florida will be called on this issue, and a attorney as well. If your child continues to go there I would advise that you continue to do unannounced pop up at the facility to check on your children.
I would personally rate this particular center zero stars and steer anyoneaway from here. I had a horrible experience and my child was only in the center for a little over 3 months until I had to abruptly disenroll him. Constant teacher turnover, no consistency, teachers outside smoking on the schools premises then handling our children. Using a highchair as restraint to a 15 month old because the teacher just didn't want to watch my child. Throwing multi age kids all in one classroom because not enough employees. Multiple times the center had to close early because capacity issues. Multiple times they were not in ratio for children to teacher ratio. Multiple times I picked up my child and he was sitting in his soil and would have a horrible diaper rash. If you want your child safe and treated with care go somewhere else.
