Muy buen daycare, atención y cuidado de los niños
My son Matthias has been in this daycare since 2022 and it has been a good fit. My wife is a teacher right across the street from them which makes it convenient for us, but the love and care they have shown to my son is amazing. No place is perfect and of course there are things that can be better, but overall... My son loves it there and has learned how to speak and mostly understand Spanish being there which is a plus. He currently does VPK with them and just graduated which they did a great job with the celebration of it. Unfortunately this will be his last year there, because he moves on to take on school, but this place was a big step toward his bright future and we a greatful for them being an important part of why he will succeed and be ahead of the curve. They also answered many of our questions when we asked.Thank you all for being attentive and loving most of all to my son.
I waited to write this review to see if it was just my son that needed to adjust to daycare. While in fact that might have been the case but it was not. I was sold on this daycare because I thought it was a loving warm family environment. My son looked miserable in every photo and video they sent. I just kept getting to Told he has to adjust daycare which is understandable. My child was technically enrolled for a month and only went for three weeks due to getting viruses back to back. Which is understandable due to him staying home this whole time. Although, one virus he caught is transmitted through stool and vomit. Maybe lack of hand washing played a role. Took my child out and enrolled him into another daycare two weeks later and he’s excited to go. He smiles, and runs to his classroom every day. Why? Because he’s comfortable and the teachers are loving. I also have access to the cameras and he doesn’t look miserable compare to how he looked attending this daycare. My son is nonverbal and every morning when he saw the daycare he instantly cried. Now every morning when he sees his new daycare he gets excited. Obviously my son was not comfortable attending Smart steps for whatever reason. At this point it was not a “he just has to adjust to daycare.” You can’t even walk your child to their classroom let alone step inside the building to pick up your child. The only thing I DID ENJOY was the fact they allowed me to pack my sons lunch since he has a bad food aversion. I tried allowing him to eat the daycare lunch but what child only wants to eat rice and beans? No protein or veggies.
My daughter started attending this daycare at age one and she stayed there for one year! She was always excited to go which indicates that she is comfortable there! They have an app where they keep you updated with pictures, naps and meal time. my daughter had never cried there at all which means she was happy with them. Also, she had a food restriction and they follow that exactly! The entire stuff members were amazing, all of them were so helpful and kind! The place was always so clean, I see them cleaning everyday. For those moms who are complaining about their kids got kicked out, it’s because they were not behaving inside and got multiple warnings. I know someone personally there who kept hitting other children inside and got kicked out after multiple warnings and that made his mom saying the daycare was not good, its just her son was not good to others and they daycare took the right decision to keep others comfortables. Also, this daycare cost is almost half price of what other daycares charge. They have also expanded it and opened a second one right next to it. I highly recommend it and If I ever need to put my daughter back in daycare, I will chose them again with no hesitation.
The owners are amazing!!!
Smart steps is a great environmental learning experience
My kids were attending this daycare and my daughter and son kept saying the teacher there was holding their chest down with lots of force when I confronted the owner she denied it then kicked my kids out of the school. My daughter kept getting lice and they wouldn't do anything about the source. I now come to find out that after doing some research the owner of the daycare was arrested for home invasion with a lengthy criminal record.
