Within 6 months of attending, my 2 year-old, who has never been in school before, was learning her colors, numbers, animals and their sounds, interacting with other children, she's learning to use the potty, she's even learning Spanish! I love how every week there's a learning curriculum and daily schedule posted for the parents. Healthy hot lunches, the children are always happy, ALL the teachers & staff are loving & trustful, and Clean! Clean! Clean!

A few years ago, three of my children attended Sherwood Preschool, and they are now in elementary school. Our experience at Sherwood was wonderful! The teachers were caring, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to the children’s growth and well-being. The director, Ms. Adriana, was both kind and assertive, striking a perfect balance of fairness and leadership. Even years later, I remain in contact with her and some of the staff because of the lasting positive impression they left on my children and me (especially the VPK Graduations). With my background in early childhood development, I always felt confident that my children were in a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment while I was at work.

I can’t say enough good things about Sherwood Preschool Academy! My kids have been attending since they were just 1 year old, and it’s been such an amazing experience. My oldest graduated from the VPK program and absolutely loved it—he still asks to come back for camp days because it feels like home to him. My youngest is currently in the VPK program, and we are so happy with it. The teachers are incredibly sweet, loving, and caring—they treat the children like their own, and you can tell the kids feel it. The atmosphere is filled with hugs, kisses, and joy, and my kids adore their teachers. From the time they were toddlers up until now, at ages 4 and 5, they’ve always loved this school! Sherwood Preschool Academy also stands out for its fun activities and events. As parents, it’s so exciting to see all the engaging things they plan for the kids. A special shoutout to Mrs. Lovera and Ms. Devon—they’re amazing! They go above and beyond, balancing professionalism with a relaxed and humorous approach that makes the environment even better. We’ll definitely continue sending our kids here for camp days and beyond. It’s truly a wonderful place that feels like family.

this school is very flexible and the rates are reasonable however they are not equipped to handle toddlers. My 2-year-old went in for a trial where she stayed there for 3 hours. This was her first time ever in school so I explained to them she would cry and be a little nervous. The director said she was not a good fit because she would not make eye contact or follow commands..ummmm she's 2! and its her first time in a group environment! reading the reviews looks like this is a theme with them. Oh well its their loss.

This is the best preschool in the area by far! The teachers absolutely adore the children and it shows from the joy my daughter has to learn and play at school each day. Nutritious, hot meals of all kinds are provided here everyday. This is where you come if you want your child to be creative and free to learn new things while becoming more independent. You will be pleasantly surprised when your little one comes home each day with new skills, including speaking spanish!

My daughter just graduated from Sherwood and is finishing up summer camp before heading off to kindergarten. We wish the entire staff could follow her along through high school. Thank you Sherwood for all you’ve done for our family 💖🙏🏼

The school is a good school. The Communication is terrible. My child has multiple incident reports. Some include him hitting/biting a child and also him being bite and hit/scratched by a child day(s) in a row. When it came to addressing me about what my kid did to another student it seems as if it was more of a priority versus when someone has rather hit/bite him and also scratched his face up poorly! It seems as if those things are not taken seriously. I asked for footage of the incident(s) all of a sudden the angle is no longer available for where the incident happened. I work in Education and I know the ins and outs and proper policies of a school and let's just say I think this situation was handled poorly. I will not plead for my kid to stay at school where he is not welcomed or wanted. On top of that I asked the teacher about the incident and she immediately looked at the Director Adriana for an answer. But how when you were the teacher who allegedly reported the incident? She began to tell me the teacher does not speak English and I find that amazing being that my child is American and only speaks English. I asked for policy where she said incidents and your out she LIED nowhere on the paper does it state that. She also said it was in the handbook, she could not find the handbook coincidently. I thought I found a family in a school but I was wrong. AND TO ADD NO HEADS UP ON EXPULSION THEY CALLED ME THE DAY OFF AND SAIT WAS MY SON'S LAST DAY. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
