I just dropped off my daughter for her last day at Scottsdale Academy, which she has been attending since she was 3-months old. The administrators and teachers at this school are kind, warm, and attentive. From being a new mom, leaving my infant daughter with strangers for the first time, to hugging (and frankly, crying) our goodbyes this morning, they have made my daughter and I feel welcome, valued, cared for, and loved. It’s apparent the administrators and teachers love their jobs and genuinely enjoy the children. I have never had to question, for even a moment, whether my daughter was safe or being treated well. The facility is secure, clean, organized, and well-equipped. Teachers maintain structured curriculum, communicate effectively, and make your child’s day both fun and engaging. Administrators are friendly, organized, knowledgeable, and available, anytime you have questions or need help. The owners are present, friendly, and solicit your feedback with sincere intentions of continuing to improve the experience for the children and their families. My daughter has loved attending this school and I’m confident she is well-prepared for the transition to kindergarten. She has learned how to behave appropriately in group and classroom settings, as well as play and share with others, and communicate properly and politely with adults. Her general knowledge, language and spelling, and basic math skills noticeably exceed those of friends her age, who are not enrolled at Scottsdale Academy. During the practice testing and assessment administered at Scottsdale Academy, she scored in the 99th percentile, each time. There’s no doubt Scottsdale Academy has been essential in developing her educational and social skills, and this foundation is going to serve her well as she continues to learn and grow. We have had such a wonderful experience and I will continue to recommend Scottsdale Academy to any family looking for a pre-school for their child(ren).

As a parent, I can't express enough gratitude for the incredible experience my child had at Scottsdale Academy. Initially, I was nervous about how my son would adapt, as he lacked experience in communicating and interacting with other children. However, under the guidance of Mrs. Shelby, Mrs. Darry, Mrs. Angie, Mrs. Katie, and Mrs. Tamaiah, my son underwent a remarkable transformation. Not only did the teachers assist him in developing essential communication skills, but they also fostered an environment where he learned the importance of playing and sharing with his peers. In just a short time, I witnessed a complete turnaround in my son's confidence and social abilities. Thanks to the dedication and expertise of the directors and teachers at Scottsdale Academy, my son is now well-prepared for his next journey into kindergarten. I want to extend my sincerest gratitude to all the staff members at Scottsdale Academy for their unwavering support and commitment to my child's development. As a single parent, their assistance in this transition has been invaluable. I wholeheartedly recommend Scottsdale Academy to anyone seeking a nurturing and enriching environment for their child's early education. Scottsdale offers a happy, healthy and educational environment for young minds. My daughter has attended Scottsdale for 2 years and I have been consistently impressed with their service, communication and level of care. The staff love and care for the children like their own and my daughter finds great joy in her time spent at school. It is peace of mind sending my child somewhere I trust!

I want to provide some fair balance to these reviews that the school asked parents to put out here to mask the negative reviews at the bottom. The radio commercial says Scottsdale Academy is NOT a drop off service. Quoting straight from the mouth of Shelby, the Director, Scottsdale is a “glorified babysitting service”. And I would agree with this because we experienced just that. Scottsdale treats your kids like they’re a disposable. No help or growth if they’re struggling in any area of life as a three year old. Do your child and yourself a favor and do not send them here.
