Best daycare in apopka! The staff and director were so patient with my daughter and she is speaking so clearly and in full sentences now! She comes home saying something new everyday!

My son has been here since August in the VPK program, it is a fantastic facility great teachers who care and genuinely love working with the kids. He has come out of his shell so much since starting.

My daughter has been at anchor (now Rivers Edge Academy) for 3 years, and she loves it there . She has learned a lot. Ready for pre K, but she will be going to anchor for after school. Would recommend to any parent. Edit**** 10 years later.... Just to be clear, my review was for Anchor Academy. I have no experience with the new management that apparently bought Anchor Academy. @Rivers Edge Academy.... My daughter is already in high school. A bit late on your thank you üòä

And awesome school, Director here, and I think it may be one of the highest rated VPK programs in the area.

I started noticing in pictures and videos that my Pre-K student was always off the side. When I inquired, they said it was a time-out. I'm like okay... I do time-outs at home... Then after a couple more incidents (being written up several times in such a short day) and more videos/pictures of not with the group, I decided to find another school. My child was spending more time sitting in a chair off the side than learning anything. After finding a new Preschool, my 4 year old literally flourished. I mean, it was day and night. I would never recommend this place to any parent.

So far so good I can say I have found a daycare/after school care home my son and I both like a lot he gets so excited when I say your going to anchor academy-apopka he tells me he has so many friends with a wide smile that brighten my heart because my son has autism its hard for him to make friends at time but going to anchor academy the staff and the children seem all very sweet and nice

Review 2022: This place was recently sold and under new management. Since then it’s gone down a creek without a paddle and I can no longer say kids are safe, parents can rest easy with them being there nor that they are anything as before. I’m just glad my child is almost out of there. There are better choices in the immediate vicinity. Good luck to you parents. Review 7+ years ago: My daughter has been at Anchor Academy for the second year now and I've found that they are loving, caring and encouraging. This is by far a secure place to have your child cared for; they're respectful towards the children and teach them consequence in a fair and appropriate manner. Kudos to the school!

The staff is very nice, polite and great with the children.
