When St Therese’s preschool closed down weeks before the school year started I was hard pressed to find a new home for my 3 yr old daughter. I tried reaching out to 3 local schools that appeared to have openings but only 1 returned my calls, Prodigy. I was nervous because of mixed reviews but willing to give it an honest try and I’m so glad I did. Everyone here has been so kind and welcoming. My daughter loves Ms Miluska and the classroom feels like a little family to her. Every morning she walks in willingly and doesn’t cry. Every pickup the kids give each other hugs goodbye totally on their own. They love each other and display the values I wanted her to grow up with in a Catholic (faith based) program. The kids get a well rounded day with lots of opportunity to learn through play, like we did as kids. They have plenty of space for outdoor play and unique activities incorporating nature vs only plastic/man-made materials. They also get a nap, which helps their little brains recover from all their learning/stimulus and reduces tired meltdowns at pickup. If you’re on the fence I encourage you to give them a try and let them know I referred you.
I’ve had my kids in Prodigy for the past year and a half and have had a positive experience. Ms. Heidi, Ms. Miluska, Ms. Sharmonda and Ms. Stephanie have all been incredible teachers to my children. They’ve grown and learned so much. Ms. Tatianna in the front is great with communicating and listening to concerns. The classrooms are nice and always clean. I would definitely recommend this school.
Prodigy at Wellington is an incredible place for children. I have two kids, ages 2 and 4, and they absolutely love it. The staff is highly attentive to both the kids and parents, ensuring every child's needs are met with a personal approach. They continuously improve the environment, introducing new games and activities to keep things engaging. One of the things I appreciate most is how much time the kids spend outdoors. They don’t just sit in a classroom with air conditioning—they’re out playing sports, gardening, enjoying their marketplace, and even having snack time outside when the weather is appropriate (fall to spring). The variety of activities is wonderful, and it helps the kids stay active and engaged. Their communication is excellent—not just with the kids, but with the parents as well. They are always understanding, responsive, and eager to help with any questions or concerns. My children see this place as their second home, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the nurturing environment. Thank you, Prodigy, for being such a wonderful place for our family. We are so glad to be part of this amazing community.
Enrolled my child here! The schools cleanliness is beyondddd average! Teachers & staff were soooo nice. So excited for my child to start!!
Prodigy feels like a mini family. The entire staff is incredibly welcoming - especially the school director, Ms. Tatiana. It’s a brand new school with attention to every child regardless of age or classroom. They have new and different activities daily and communicate throughout the day with the parents!
My child spent a few years at Prodigy (formally Newbridge prep) so we have experienced both before and after the buyout. The truth: there are growing pains that come with any transition, it’s not unique to Prodigy. There was turnover in the last year for both teachers and directors which was extremely challenging and frustrating for everyone involved. The good: We were blessed with THE most amazing teacher Ms. Miluska. She is patient, kind, nurturing and loves the kids so much. We had a wonderful year under her care! The other teachers I got to interact with seem great too. I know other classrooms had teacher turnover so parents may not share the same sentiment, but I can only speak from my personal experience. The facilities at Prodigy are beautiful. The rooms are bright, open, spacious, and clean - I have no complaints on that front. I am hopeful that once things stabilize these growing pains will be a thing of the past. I encourage you to tour the school, speak to the staff and choose the best school for your kiddos based on your research and in-person visits (go see more than 1 so you can make the best decision).
Beautiful facility in a great location. The teachers and staff were very friendly and caring. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a preschool.
What an amazing school, Ms. Tatiana is such an amazing director! The school looks beautiful and is in a beautiful location. All the teachers are so nice! Highly recommend!!
I would not recommend this school to anyone. My daughter was being neglected there. They would leave poop diapers on her for hours it would be caked onto her. She would come out of school super red with a bad rash most times they wouldn‚Äôt even clean her properly and she would still have poop in her privates. She was suppose to be in the potty training class and they weren‚Äôt potty training instead they did something that caused her to digress and wanted nothing to do with a toilet or potty training for a while she was petrified when prior to coming to that school she would get all excited to go pee pee in the potty. It‚Äôs scary to even think what was happening there. They never answer their phones it is extremely hard to get ahold of anyone there. My daughter was in the early drop off and there was a teacher at the front instead of a director and the teacher did not have the list of early drop off kids to know if it‚Äôs ok that she got dropped of or not. I had just started a new job and had to get to work and they made me late on my first day of work because they wouldn‚Äôt let me drop off until they spoke with the director They could not find a directorüá®üᨠand they were losing teachers left and right. Along with bad teachers that were extremely nasty and rude to me and my daughter so much so that my daughter would cry every day at drop off. It was a nightmare being at that school and i could not happier with the decision I made to remove her from that school and place her in a better one. If I were you I would stay as FAR as possible away from this school!!!!! Best decision I ever made!!!
