The staff is very sweet and professional. My son is about to be 9 months and he loves Ms. Mathis! She has taken really good care of him and the other infants, you can really see the love she has for each one of them. Whenever we pick him up for the day she always has a story for us or tells us something she realizes he has started doing. As a mom who fears missing out whenever I am not around my kids, I really appreciate her attentiveness. ----- Author: Nobody Special Rating: 2/5 Date: 7/31/2024, 2:31:16 AM Review: We used this daycare for about a year. During that year we found them to close whenever they felt like it and during the week (which no other daycare does)not just because of a storm, although they did close for a whole week without any damage or flooding yet still charged us for the full week - even though I lost a week of work. It’s a total hassle to drop off and pick up the kids because you have to wait outside of the door in the hot sun and hope someone comes to the door. They change the drop off and pick up area based on weather and just expect you to figure it out when it might not have stormed where you are and then speak to you like you’re an idiot when you are waiting outside to pick up your child. My infant child was injured on two occasions because they weren’t watching them, and I know this because they couldn’t explain how they were hurt but my child was the only one in the infant room at the time. They only accepted Zelle payments sent on Fridays and then couldn’t (or wouldn’t)issue a single receipt for any payments which I needed. But god forbid if you were. Day late sending the Zelle payments. They would text you suddenly at 745 am to tell you you can’t bring your child into the daycare that day unless you scrambled and had proof of an appt for their vaccination(not a single word at pickup or drop off at all days before. These were most of the issues with this daycare; but, you do what works for you and your situation

I love this care center. They are attentive and super clean. My daughter was sick biweekly and sometimes weekly at her previous daycare. She has been at Precious Jewels for almost 2 months and she has not been sick once. The staff is so friendly and very warm. I feel very comfortable dropping off my daughter for care.
