This facility is very unprofessional. They don’t have current pictures of what the outside of the building looks like. Yesterday I went to attempt to enroll my daughter and upon arriving the entire building and fences around are plastered with over 50 confederate flags! Considering the world we are living in today, it was extremely distasteful and very much inappropriate for ANY educational setting. Wouldn’t bring her there if it was the last option on earth !

Fantastic school ms cabral and the rest of the teachers are awesome! My baby has been there two years or more now and Will be leaving this year.. emotional feelings but ms Cabral is an amazing teacher and has prepped my child for the next step, she will be missed by both student and mom.
It has been a year since my daughter began to attend Poinciana VPK. There have been several issues since then leading up until today when I removed my daughter from there. 1. My daughter comes home with bumps and bruises and no reports or notice, not even a phone call to notify me of what had happened. I actually had to call them only to find out that no one had a clue. 2. Everyone in that building does everyone from answering phone calls to teaching the children yet when something happens and you question it. Everyone wipes off their hands and says they weren’t with them when this happened so they don’t know. 3. There have been times when teachers have called out and they have had no subs in place. I know this from experience when I walked in to speak to someone and the director told the person in the front that she could not speak to me because they had too many children and not enough staff. I’m sure this is a licensing issue. 4. Not to mention the fact that my daughter came home one day and told me that the owner dragged her out of the bathroom after she had wet herself and was embarrassed. I received a long letter of how badly my daughter acted that day and what not. 5. Ms. Cabral has no heart for the children and she is so rude and disrespectful to the parents. 6. I have waited for a whole week for the owner to call me and I have not received any phone calls. They are never there and don’t care to tend to the parents concerns.
At first glance this school seems like an okay school, I had my restrictions for minor things like there cash only policy and that you have to provide lunch and they don't have fridges or microwaves and you can't send them with breakfast to eat for those early bird parents that need to get to work and their child is not an early eater. The main issue I had was with some the teachers and director! ( excluding Ms. B never had any issues with her & Ms.Ayala)they were very rude when it came to anything! very unprofessional and disorganized. As a new parent I had questions and concerns and they always seemed annoyed if I asked to speak to someone! I never knew who was in charge of what..and when you had issues or thier teacher left before you came and you want an update on your childs day..you would think the director should know how the child did or if ate that day since she is suppose to oversee the facility and their teacher isnt there to brief you! but no! they constantly ignored parents and felt the need to gossip and talk about other parents, children or the personal life while parents stood their waiting to be helped.( literally would have full blown conversations with their back turned to us as if we were standing there for fun! smh....mainly the director I noticed did that) My mother and sister witnessed and experienced this same unprofessionalism. I honestly would not recommend this daycare at all due to the the treatment I recieved It honestly made me wonder how they were treating my child and other children that can't defend themselves if they got so easily annoyed and agitated by parents! One positive I feel like they had a good curriculum for teaching but beside that and the few okay people working there and it's a no go! customer service is everything and in this line of work you need to like people and kids and be kind patient and respectful of them and that's something they lacked on the parent front that is! but if your a parent that likes to know everyday how your child is doing and asks a lot of questions or have many concerns I would look elsewhere because I feel you will be very disappointed as I was for the 1 month I was there! Realized by week 2 this facility not for me or my daughter! & put in my 2 weeks notice in ! Hope you guys really do better and treat parents better! It Really does reflect this daycare negatively!
