Author: Kerry-Ann Munroe Rating: 5/5 Date: 2/6/2024, 6:17:27 PM Review: Phyl's Academy is a great institution. In addition to the standard education curriculum, the students are exposed to activities such as spelling bee, debate, and brain bowl at an early age which prepares them for the next level and in turn are well rounded. The staff are very caring and goes above and beyond to ensure that the students are progressing. Overall, Phyl's is a great school! ----- Author: RJ Rating: 5/5 Date: 2/2/2024, 4:50:43 AM Review: We needed a top-notch school with a strong academic curriculum. After thoroughly assessments, we selected Phyl's Academy for our daughter. We are proud to say that our daughter has been part of the Phyl's Academy family since she was 2 years old. The school offers an environment that is academically challenging, caring and so much more. When my daughter took an assessment during her 5th grade year, her reading level was at college level. The teachers and administrators are very supportive to the child and parents. They are looking for the best interest of the child. Hence, Phyl's Academy is preparing my child to be successful in the future. We couldn’t pick a better school than Phyl’s Academy. ----- Author: MrsKlip Murray Rating: 5/5 Date: 1/24/2024, 9:08:37 PM Review: My kids have been at Phyl's for 3 years now and I am extremely satisfied with this school. I like the curriculum, my kids are being challenged and my children are happy and learning. The school is focused on developing intelligent, obedient and well mannered children and I love that. ----- Author: Latifah Carty Rating: 5/5 Date: 1/23/2024, 5:01:42 PM Review: My overall experience with Phyl’s Academy has been outstanding. My child has been thriving since the day she stepped foot into the school. The curriculum, the care and discipline given by the teachers and staff have exceeded my expectations. Phyl’s also has extra curricular activities, like swimming, which strengthened my daughters skill. I would absolutely recommend Phyl’s Academy to anyone who values quality education.

Author: Jancslay Rating: 1/5 Date: 9/8/2024, 11:28:50 PM Review: As a FIRST TIME parent of this school, I am highly disappointed and appalled. If I could give this school 0 stars, I would. I pulled my son out of this school because there’s no way we would’ve lasted the whole school year. Not even a full month in and we’ve had the worse experience. Teacher and director bad with communication, teacher withholds snack when the class is not listening instead of doing silent snack. Asked the teacher about it and she dismissed me…contacted the director of this matter and instead of responding back to me, she went back and told the teacher what I said and the teacher got in my sons face and started to yell at him for telling me. My lawyers will be involved. There’s no way this is a Christian school. God does not give us the spirit of fear. So, who do you think you are to put fear into my child? I think not. ----- Author: tracey doeman-cockfield Rating: 5/5 Date: 3/28/2024, 5:33:41 PM Review: I wanted my son to go to a private school with a Christian foundation. I didn’t know that my son was going to get so much more! He’s only in the first grade and is learning two languages. Besides the strong academics and the numerous extra curricular activities that are offered, the faculty cares. They actually care about my child. They actually are invested in his future.

Can proudly say that this is my alma mater. I went there from Pk-6th grade. It was the best, most fun years of my life. Every other school I went to after that, whether it be middle, high, or college, they could truly never ever top those years I had with Phyl's. We have so much history together..the summer camps, field trips, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas parties, Christmas shows, Black History Month, field days, etc. What I love about this school is they were always about embracing African pride and roots. In a way, it was like a younger version of "A Different World". My school years there felt very homely, especially being around your own Caribbean people. It was truly an experience like no other. They would always managed to outdo themselves or do things in a big way. I absolutely have no regrets I ever going there..even with the good and the bad teachers, it was the best of the BEST. Always going far and beyond. They really do live up to their motto "Always One Step Ahead".
