Author: Carrie Rating: 5/5 Date: 9/27/2023, 4:23:04 PM Review: Hello! My son has been going to this daycare since the end of March. He LOVES everyone there! Smiles at everyone, reaches his arms out to everyone there, they treat him like he is family. He is only 8 months old and he already knows so much and is physically developing beautifully! Yes I am an employee here. However, as a mother, I am still VERY picky on who my child interacts with. I understand navigating childcare and who to trust with your children is hard. Your children are your most prized possessions. I do recommend Paradise, because every day I see the children’s smiling faces ready to learn and play! The parents that bring their children here are always welcome to drop in any time to see their kids from the youngest baby to the oldest VPK kid. The teachers have been invited to the kids birthday parties, we often talk to the parents outside of daycare and when we don’t see a kid come in one day we ask if the kid is ok. We are a tight knit family: employees, parents, and kids! Anyone who is saying awful things about our FAMILY is simply a disgruntled former employee who thought this would be basically babysitting. Daycare is NOT babysitting. The infants are read to, taught to crawl, taught to sit up, taught to eat solid foods, loved, cuddled, and so much more! The one year olds are taught many nursery rhyme songs, campfire songs, ABCs, colors, numbers, shapes, art and are preparing to become more independent in their feeding themselves and other activities of daily living. On past 2 the skills are built more and more. Sadly, the people who have “worked” here did not put a day of real work with these kids at all. We are teachers. Not babysitters. And we certainly do NOT punish the children in any way! Paradise and any daycare can be looked up on the DCF website. Every write up is listed so parents can make informed decisions about their child’s care. Unfortunately, reviews made by others are made to be vindictive, hurt the employees, the business, and is simply wrong. We work hard for these kids, and I stand by Mrs Robin and Paradise 100%!

My husband and I recieved my nephew on unfortunate circumstances. He was almost 5 and austic. Unfortunately, due to his circumstances he was not potty trained. No daycare would take him. None. We called all over the area. Ms Robin opened her daycare up to him and took hom right in. He has been there almost 5 years. Ms. Robin and her staff are seriously the best. They have assisted his growth in so many ways. We are blessed that God sent them to us. The only reason we are leaving is due to a change in my work hours. Other than that, he'd still be going there. They also are very affordable to other daycares, in the area!
Paradise Child Development Center was the best decision I made for my child. She attended from 8 weeks old until she started Kindergarten. The staff that works there provided more than just care for her basic daily needs while I was at work - they truly loved her like their own and gave her the attention and time to help her grow and learn. I was amazed with my child's development (physical, emotional, intellectual), knowing they were a significant part of it since they had her 40 hours a week. They don't just go through a daily routine; I believe they cater to each and every child. They expose the children to well balanced meals, all of which are included. The main staff was consistent through all the years. They have good expectations and hold the children and parents accountable to ensure every one that walks through the door gets the care they deserve. Communication was easy with all the staff. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Paradise and would recommend to anyone.
My son attends this daycare and the staff are always amazing! when my son was born my wife was working from home and we thought that would be a possible thing. however it wasnt and she had to call around to find a daycare to take him short notice. I called Robin and she said that we could come in and see the place. the next day my son was attending with the other infants. Everyone is so professional and awesome! I have never had a problem with this place and I have no idea how anyone can be telling outright lies on this site. Something else to say, this place has been around for 20+ years. Cant say the same thing about the daycare I went to as a kid.
We’ve been attending this daycare for 12 years with all three of our kids and have absolutely loved it. They have become family and treat you like your family! Their communication is so great and you know they have genuine relationships when your kids run for hugs and tell their teachers that they love them. We are so grateful for our paradise family!

I love this school! I removed my daughter (2) from another school in the area due to negligence in cleaning & safety. I called Paradise on a Friday asking to tour the place and by the following Monday my daughter was enrolled! She has been here for over 2 years now and I’m actually sad that she’ll be going to kindergarten next year and leaving them! They have shown so much kindness and love towards my daughter! I love all the hands on activities that the teachers do with the children and my daughter is always all smiles when I pick her up! I also want to mention how clean the center always is and my daughter has never come home dirty, snotty, or disheveled!!
My 2 year old has been attending paradise since she was 6 weeks old and my 5 year old since she was 1! I love Paradise as do my kiddos. Both my kids run up to staff and give them hugs every morning! They aren’t only awesome to my kids but my whole family as well! The facility is always clean and welcoming.. they always keep me update on how my girls are doing at school. If I ever have a concern about ANYTHING Mrs. Robin (the owner) is willing to listen to me and talk with me about it which i feel is so important. Every staff member is so kind to my kiddos and gives them so much love and guidance even if they aren’t their current teachers. I love Paradise and the staff there!!
The absolute BEST daycare in our area. My boys have been going there since they were 6 weeks old and they aren’t just their daycare family, they’re FAMILY period! I have never had any issues with anything. Their communication is top notch, my boys are clean and freshly changed when I pick them up, they have and continue to learn so much each and every day! My boys LOVE going into daycare and seeing their teachers and friends. The staff is always happy to see them and greet each child every single morning. The facility is ALWAYS clean and inviting and they have open door policy, so parents can pop in whenever they want. Robin is absolutely devoted to making sure these kids are loved and taken care of along with her staff. Her employees have to meet her expectations and they are all wonderful. We love paradise and will be so sad when our kiddos get older.
This review is an effort to help other parents before they go though what I did. The fact is, my child attended this school for three days. I heard someone screaming at a child while I was walking through the parking lot to pick up my daughter. I found Robin (the owner), bellowing at my daughter in a corner along with another child. I immediately withdrew her form the school. That’s our experience. My husband and I also received a very nasty phone call from Robin after the fact, and we both reported her business. I know someone else who had a terrible experience at this facility as well. This daycare is considered the lowest daycare if you live around here, no one in this area uses it. I didn’t know because I was new to the area. If you are researching childcare options, trust other parents and not the owners best friend on reviews. We enrolled our daughter into St. Ann’s and after that Knowledge Kollege for VPK. They were both wonderful options and had very nice directors and teachers. I think St. Ann’s offers VPK now. Good luck to everyone looking for childcare. It can be tough, but good options are out there.
