We are thrilled to have our children attend Montessori Bilingual Academy (MBA)! As a parent, you will always want to provide the best education possible for your children and I can confirm, from our experience, that you’ll find it here guided by amazing and devoted teachers, and staff, including the parent community support. MBA educators keep us informed about everything that’s going on with our children's development at all stages, as needed, in the subject of; math, science, writing, reading, Spanish, geography, arts, etc. In addition, the school offers excellent extracurricular activities for our kids which they love! Do not think twice to give your family the opportunity to learn beyond what the traditional education system doesn’t have. I assure you will be amazed to have your kid talking about all the fun learning activities they did at MBA. 110% recommended!!

My child has been enrolled at Montessori Bilingual Academy of Rockledge (MBAR) since 2018. The school provides an incredible range of academic exposure and a warm social environment for growing minds. MBAR is truly unmatched in what it offers to its students, parents, and community. The owner cares deeply for the school and ensures classrooms are fully outfitted to meet the expansive Montessori and language curriculums. Parents can be reassured that classrooms are safe and secure, teachers are engaged and experienced, and children are introduced to a carefully and lovingly curated environment that encourages learning. The school continues to improve year-over-year with new areas of study, like culinary arts, Mandarin and STEM, being introduced regularly. In addition to a well-structured academic year, MBAR also offers a summer program that’s focused on FUN. Kids have a blast with water days and themed education modules that promote summertime learning through play. We’re so thankful that we were able to give our child a great head start in their pre-education and lower elementary education by enrolling them at MBAR.

My barely two year old started here and by the end of her first week was completely adjusted, sleeping through naps, eating all her lunch, and jabbering about her teachers. They were all so caring and loving and treated her like she was their child. I can’t stress enough how important that was to my husband and I as it was her first school, not to mention how professional, clean, and research-based all their teaching methodologies are, and how safe and secure their pick up/drop system was. Their app kept me in the loop daily with pictures and routine checkups, and all announcements and teacher communication was super easy here as well. We also loved all the extra perks Montessori of Rockledge had, like offering Parents Night Out and after school ballet and soccer right on site. I highly recommend this school to any inquiring parents, especially nervous ones starting their toddlers for the first time!

MBAR is under new ownership as of 2020, so take older reviews with that in mind. The changes have been incredible. The new owner, Melissa cares deeply about the school. She has invested lots of money into new materials, and improvements to the school grounds that have converted the school into a true montessori environment. With an outdoor classroom, new trilingual curriculum (the students learn English, Spanish and mandarin), and improved teacher resources, the school is night and day from where it stood. The individualized curriculum program develops each child not only academically (they are usually ahead of their age!), but also teaches them great leadership skills and a true love of learning. The primary years are the foundation for future learning, and I’m so happy we found MBAR to meet our needs!

Amazing committed teachers. Bilingual a HUGE plus. The care and dedication, plus the obvious love for teaching is evident. If you want your kids to excel and really learn, while enjoying their classes, this is the school for you. Absolutely the BEST! From administration to teachers and everyone in between!

I tried to get in the school few years ago, but the management and atmosphere were not very good. Im happy we didn't get a spot. Although I know that everything changed now when a new management step in and improved a lot of things. There are 3 dedicated teachers in each room, there is a bilingual teacher providing extra input and value for the kids. Outdoor areas are improved, parents communications are so much better. I saw it myself and my friends bring their children there, because its a great place! Highly recommend.

I remember coming here as a child, and I remember that there were positives. Compared to many places, it has large and spacious rooms, clean and easy to thrive for some children. However, I remember negatives about it as well. There were bullies that went unchecked, operating in front of adults with no interruption. I remember that one of the teachers declined to teach me, instead putting me with younger kids and only coming to pick me up when it was time for the next section. I remember coming out of the school crying, and desperately hoping my parents would believe me, however they didn't until my aunt came to pick me up early one day, and found me in the middle of it. I never went back, but the sense of anxiety and the idea that I wasn't good enough persisted for years afterwards. While it may be better now, I want people to be able to hear what it was like from one of the less favored kids there.

DO NO TRUST ALL THE REVIEWS FOR THIS PLACE AS SOME ARE LEFT BY THE DIRECTOR HERSELF AND OTHER STAFF MEMBERS. If I could give this school a 0 for rating I would. Run from this place. As the other reviews, pointed out already, some of the teachers are OK, but it makes you wonder how the others obtained their degree and why were they hired in the first place. The director is either clueless or she doesn't mind the teachers running the show and doing exactly what they feel like. Take your child to a school where happiness, excitement the every day behavior as a kid is not punished every so often. Very disappointing.....
