This school has been perfect for my active and spirited daughter. She will be starting kindergarten now knowing all her letters, numbers, and addition. The teachers were so kind and good the her. Wonderful.

This is my son's second year at Live Oak Montessori and I could not be happier. He is very intelligent and has ADHD which can be a struggle for him at times. The classes are small, and the teachers have taken the time to get to know him and how to encourage him to do his very best. He is at grade level or above in all subjects, and I am able to be involved in his education and see him grow and progress. He is becoming such a curious, independent learner and is thriving in a Montessori environment. This school is great for children who are ahead in their studies, and also children who are behind and need some extra help, because the teachers really care and know what they are doing, and the children learn to work together and learn from eachother.

Both of my kids ( 3 yo and 6 yo ) started this year in Live Oak Montessori school. I can't be more happy and greatfull for the teachers. We also use aftercare and my kids simply DO NOT want to leave the school when the time go home. That speaks louder than words!

Dear Warne N, I'd like to address your review, as I am the only teacher (apart from our director) who is also a parent at this school. Your assumptions are both inaccurate and unfortunate. I am absolutely NOT a volunteer! It's unclear to me how one could think our director would even allow a volunteer to spend the day alone with a classroom of children! As an educator and a mom like you, she is also very particular about who she exposes the children in school to; and I was subject to every step of the application, interview, and hiring process - including a trial period to ensure that I would be a good fit for this school. I have 19 years of classroom experience which include working with children of every age, both privately and in classrooms and all my certifications and achievements are available on DCF Portal. At this point I am in my second year with this wonderful school, where I facilitate in the classrooms with art, as well as lead weekly dance and drama classes. Sadly, but you just discredited nearly 20 years of experience with a hasty assumption. BTW, I was the one to allow you in, so that you wouldn't freeze waiting outside.

Never in my life have I been treated so rudely and I toured a total of 7 daycares today. The "director" had the audacity to tell me that I needed to return with my husband, which I dont have. The facilty seemed nice and clean but I wouldn't want that woman anywhere near my son, especially for educational purposes. There is a lovely Kindercare next door.

From the moment we walked I could tell this was the school for us. The teachers were warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. The grounds and classrooms were meticulously cared for. Being a relatively small school, my child received so much one-on-one attention and it was quite refreshing. Thanks Live Oak!

The Teachers and Staff are so nice and elegant. The children are so well behaved that when I first went there I was confused why the kids were so calm and behaved because I was used to seeing wild kids at the playground. My daughter has been going here a year and loves it, she has learned a lot and she seems to be getting a lot of skills with speaking, motor ability and self-control at a very rapid rate it's adorable!
