But I am confident she is going to be ahead of her peers when starting school due to the amazing curriculum at Little Spuds. The owners take pride in providing a rich, varietied curriculum. The facility is clean, well cared for and secure. Other centers we visited were chaotic, smelled like urine, and lacked locks on the doors to stop people off the street from freely accessing the children. The staff at Spuds truly cares for the children. Ms. Christina made my child feel comfortable when transitioning into daycare and helped us potty train her! They do follow the Escambia County school schedule which can be frustrating when child care is closed for spring break, Christmas break, etc. but we have chosen to deal with that inconvenience because the benefits of good, safe childcare is worth it to us. ----- Author: Danny Rating: 5/5 Date: 12/19/2022, 5:23:59 PM Review: I moved my son from a daycare center in Milton to Little Spuds and I was very hesitant only because I wasn’t sure how he would adjust to the change, but within 5 minutes of us being there he was waving me off and already making friends. One of the deciding factors to switch him was little spuds utilization of the WatchMeGrow app. You can pull up a live feed anytime during the day to check in and see what your kiddos up to. They also send check in/out notifications via the ProCare app, and email. You can make payments, communicate directly with with the staff throughout the day on ProCare, and they are always sending pics of my son when they do activities! They have a curriculum for even the preschoolers and each week they send links to educational activities you can do with your little one at home and it’s directly related to what they are learning that week. Im excited for my son to start their VPK program and I have no doubt my kid will be well-prepared for kindergarten. The owners are wonderful people and you can tell they really do care about kids. There’s only about 4-5 staff there, and they are very selective about who they hire. I know when I drop my son off, he’s going to have fun, he’s going to learn things, and most importantly he is SAFE! Thank you to all the staff at Little Spuds!

Being able to check the camera app is something no one else seems to have. They will have your kids performing in an event at the end that is more sophisticated than most elementary school plays. Pricing is not easy but I’d say worth it, considering everything they provide that no other service will. He wants to go back for summer.

I absolutely recommend Little Spuds to not only “care” for your child, but to also educate them. I was a stay at home mom, with plans to home school my twins. When my husband, their dad passed away, I was terrified of what our future looked like, especially since I couldn’t home school them like I intended. After a year of having them enrolled at Little Spuds my twins have THRIVED in every way possible. These childcare professionals go above and beyond every day for every child. I can say with 100% confidence that my kids are cared for, loved and respected in the ways that I intended when I wanted to homeschool them. I do not look forward to the day my kiddos age out of this amazing learning academy.
We have been there for quite some time and are so sad that this will be our son’s final year. When we first got the call to enroll our son, of course we were nervous and weren’t sure how our son would do. I can tell you that our son has absolutely flourished at this school and it was THE best decision we ever made. The teachers and staff are so patient even when our son was going through phases. The teachers and staff are so supportive through every everything. We will truly miss our teachers and Little Spud’s family at the end of this summer! If you are looking for a fantastic preschool for your kids, definitely bring them here. We love our Little Spuds family, they are the best!

Consistent price hikes, forced to pay even during daycare closures that require alternate childcare.
Crazy overcharging, closed on teacher conference days....cannot provide a detailed invoice just expects to pay without knowing why....excessive fees and bs charges
Tried to inquire about preschool for my son and received the worst service and unwillingness to help. So happy my child doesn’t go here considering the way the employees talk to the parents. I was told, “maybe we’re not the ones for you” when asked if I could update my phone number to be on the waitlist. Was advised that she wasn’t going to do anything until a month has passed even though I had been on the waitlist for over a year. This is after being told they were busy and to call back after a certain time. I was left on hold and forgotten about just to have to call 3 times throughout the day to be told this.
I have been with this daycare since they opened day 1. Both of my boys have had the pleasure of attending this great center. The teachers are phenomenal and I can see the progression in my boys as they learn different things daily. My oldest started Kindergarten this year and because of the curriculum and system they stuck to, he was well prepared.
