Wish i could give no stars. You DO NOT want to send your child here they’re under staffed, they seem to hire just about anybody, they lack empathy & compassion and only concern is keeping doors open. Ive had a few issues with them regarding my 2yr old son, but the nail in the coffin is when i went to pick up my son on 12/05/24 they were all outside on the playground but his teacher couldn’t find him she finally checks bathroom & there he is. My son came out the bathroom crying, the teacher who knew she f’d up says he’s been complaining about his stomach(which when i asked him why he was crying mentioned nothing about his stomach which he communicates well if so). I just picked him up & carried him out to the car, inside im furious & heartbroken. Something inside me didnt feel right so the next day i spoke with the head of the daycare Niaomi explained the situation & stated i would like to see the camera footage but she said i couldn’t because other kids maybe in video but she would record with her phone & send through the app we use, she also stated that this has happened before & she spoke with teachers & that the kids had free reign to the bathrooms. Well later that day she sent us a message through the app that she watched video but couldn’t see anything because no cameras in bathroom but he was in there about 10min & she spoke to teacher & gave her a warning & if it happened again she would be written up(yes a warning for missing a whole human being) we never got to see tape so who’s to say Niaomi is telling the truth & not covering for herself, her teacher or someone else cause i can tell you another story where a man & woman was past the front desk without permission & in a classroom chatting with my sons teacher while my son opened the classroom door & got his fingers stuck between the door but thats another story. I was not happy with niaomi’s response or her results. So that day 12/06/24 when i picked up my son from daycare i had him try to open the bathroom door from the outside which he could barely open mind you when he did get it cracked he had to squeeze his body in between to keep it from closing because it was to heavy. While in the bathroom i told my son to open the door to leave he couldn’t even budge the door he just lifted the handle up & down(I recorded all this as proof) at this point im furious, worried & scared because my mind started spinning with questions & scenarios we see this type of stuff all the time that turn out to be tragic lucky for us all he was found in time & that’s mainly due to me being 30min earlier than usual picking him up thank God for that! I have so many questions did someone take him into bathroom?! If so why & where was they when his teacher found him in there?! Did he actually use the bathroom ect, there’s so many unanswered questions & when i went to message them on the app about hour ago we was already locked out we literally decided yesterday to take him out & told them today, i txt my sons mother to tell her she said “She's already emailed me, That’s probably why she emailed instead“ I asked her what email said she said “ (Niaomi’s email) “Good morning, attached you will find the information you requested. I am sorry to see him go. Marcel will be missed“(The end) lol that’s all they had to say no explanation, concern or even a question of why we decided to pull him but he will be missed lol this place and the staff is a joke. This is a serious situation that shouldn’t be taken lightly. Nothing could’ve happened at all I DONT KNOW but that’s the problem I DONT KNOW but why cant i see the footage?!?! BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR KIDS HERE!

Such an amazing daycare and staff! We have had an amazing experience with this daycare. The teachers are so good, they watch over our kids and really want them to grow up well. It is such an incredible atmosphere and i see how they breed independence and self growth in a friendly supportable manner I have always been totally confident leaving my child here, she has the best care. I am blessed to receive the care and dedication of staff daily! Would recommend to any parent seeking guidance and care for their little ones with ease of mind!

I had scheduled a tour with Little Owls over the phone. When I went to tour, no one was there. In the first five minutes while I was waiting, I watched three staff members come in and I very easily could've got into the building myself. I don't know how anyone feels safe sending their child here. I didn't even need to tour after that, absolutely would not recommend.

Edited: My prior review below was done when my daughter was there over 5 years ago. Because Little Owl was so good with her we didn't question putting my son in the school. We started my son when he was 2 years old and he just graduated VPK in May of 2024. It started off well but soon after the turn around for teachers was insane! I lost count how many teachers he went through but I know that he had at least 6 within his first year there. He was not transitioning well so it was really hard each time a new teacher would come. Eventually as he got older the turn around slowed a little bit but it never really stopped. If I had to guess, he had a total of over at least 8-10 teachers in the 3 years he was there. In this time frame the prior owners sold to new owners and wow did it go downhill from there. Just driving up you can tell they don't care about the facility. The landscaping is overgrown and many times it wasn't cut for months. The teachers in the VPK were very sweet and that is the only reason we continued to stick it out. Those teachers have since moved on. The new owners continued to increase the dues yet didn't provide any reason why. I don't think they pay their teachers a fair wage because many left very quick within being hired. All the 5 star reviews were done previously when they ran a push for people to give a 5 star review and they would give money off tuition many years ago. I sure hope the new owners start taking care of the facility and the teachers. I'm giving a three star only because the teachers were amazing and the ones that stayed really do it for the love of kids however I think those teachers left now after graduation this year. Review from prior to 2020: My daughter has attended Little Owl Learning Academy since she was 2 years old. She was in a room for the 2's, younger 3's, older 3's and VPK and she has LOVED every teacher she has had. They have a great curriculum and I would highly recommend them.

Horrible experience! They are so under staffed. Always out of ratio. I understand that right now there is a shortage everywhere, but they shouldn’t be accepting more kids into the facility, knowing that they don’t have the staff to be able to do it. Rather than working with my child and being patient with them they are screaming at him, and I watched from the fence. The older lady literally ripped his arm up. I reported to the Florida state for child care. Anytime that we asked to see the cameras they won’t show us anything. We should be allowed to do that. There’s been multiple occasions where the parents had to stay because the teacher is so overwhelmed.

Terrible establishment. If I can rate it less than a 1 star I would. Please do some research when picking a daycare!

Every day your greeted warmly by Miss Lilli or Miss Naomi. Always attentive to my child's needs. My little one leaves every day with a smile and excited to tell me all about what they learned. If you are looking for a new daycare, put LOLA at the top of your list. We couldn't be happier with our decision to put our child here!

Unprofessional owner. $175 application fee, to be told there's no room for full time. Couldn't have told family's that before you got the money? Person in charge for admission is very unprofessional. Kids play outside by themselves. No activity with the kids.
