Of all the ones we visited, LIMA was the one that felt like home right away. My oldest child started there in the 1's room and was there all the way through VPK. And my youngest followed right in her footsteps, now halfway through VPK. Now, I'll be totally honest and say we've had some ups and downs and there have been some shifts in teachers and directors since we started there, but it has only gotten better with time. First, the current director, Peggy, is simply fantastic. She loves children, she cares about and supports the families, and she's dedicated to keeping her staff safe and happy. Anytime issues creep up, she is straightforward, honest, and patient. She believes in doing what is right, not just what is easy. There have been days that I've walked into the school needing to have a serious talk with her and she ALWAYS takes the time to hear me out, ease my concerns, and find ways to work with me to make things better. Always! Second, the teachers. I cannot leave a review without giving much credit to some of the amazing teachers who have made a difference in my children's lives. Ms. Cathy, Ms. Shaunte, and Ms. Amy - you are all so amazing, so incredibly loving, so patient, and I cannot thank you enough for what you do for my family. When I send my kids to school, I am comforted knowing they are in a safe place where they are learning, building relationships, and having fun. What more can a parent ask for?! Thank you SO SO SO much Peggy, Stephanie, Cathy, Shaunte, Ms. Amy and all the staff at LIMA for being a part of our family for the last 6 years! <3 ----- Author: Carly Driskell Rating: 5/5 Date: 12/2/2024, 12:11:38 PM Review: I have been taking my children to this school for years. My son went pre-covid and my daughter is currently enrolled now. We absolutely love it here! I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else. The staff is like family. I feel that my child is safe and given all the tools she needs to be successful with her learning/development. My daughter loves her teachers and loves coming to school every day. The daycare is clean and offers lots of outside time with caution to how the weather is. If you're looking for a small daycare where they make you feel safe and welcome this is the place to go. The director Mrs. Peggy is the best and will always advocate for your child. Again, this place and the staff feel like family. I would recommend it to anyone I know! ----- Author: Janina DaCosta Rating: 5/5 Date: 5/16/2024, 6:09:37 PM Review: Our family loves everyone at Learning in Motion. When we first toured the facility, Ms. Stephanie was so kind and she made me feel comfortable leaving our baby from just first impressions. Ms. Peggy always keeps us updated of anything that is happening at the school. The teachers are all so kind and every one makes our baby feel safe and comfortable even if they are not her assigned teachers. So happy to have found this place. ----- Author: Tabitha Bush Rating: 5/5 Date: 5/16/2024, 5:38:20 PM Review: I am very happy that my son is attending LIM. The staff provide a safe and educational environment for my son. I am grateful for the staff because it takes a village and SPECIAL individuals to work with babies and toddlers everyday. THANK YOU LIM Staff. ----- Author: Her Her Rating: 5/5 Date: 2/18/2022, 9:43:33 PM Review: Absolutely one of the best preschools in ft.lauderale area. My son has been coming here for the past 5 years and his learning comprehension is above average. I would highly recommend to any parent looking for a safe place for you're children and the staff is always there to answer any questions ----- Author: Yuri Drummond Rating: 5/5 Date: 2/17/2022, 1:03:08 PM Review: So… my daughter and I went out with a friend. Learning in Motion is an amazing Daycare. My older daughter went here for 5 years and my baby has been going here for 2 years. The staff are great and treat my kids with love and kindness. Mrs. Peggy the director is a God send. (Heart Emoji) I highly recommend LIM.

My son has been attending this amazing daycare for 2 years and I have to say that LIMA is a place where education importance of our kids and their genuine care is their highest priority. We are truly blessed to have encountered such an amazing staff. They are ALWAYS willing to go the extra mile to go above and beyond for our kids and parents as well. We have nothing but respect and gratitude for LIMA…! Happy Holidays.
We picked this daycare after looking at 5 different ones in the area and it's the best decision we made. Ms. Peggy, the director is great with communication and we always receive communication about the class/curriculum from her. My son is 4 now and he knows his alphabet, numbers, days of the week, months and a lot more AND he can trace letters and draw :0. He loves all his teachers and loves going here.
I do not recommend it here, especially if your child is outgoing or active. The teachers are lazy & and don't like to move around too much. They will literally call you to come get your child for every little thing. You would need to leave work very often to either go console your child as they say or pick up your child. Which makes me wonder why am I paying you again? Also, do not purchase their lunch for your kids, it will give your child diarrhea & they will blame your child that they're not potty trained when it's their food that caused the child to poop on themselves. Anyways, the manager lady gives you attitude if you want to purchase lunch. She prefers you bringing your kid's own lunch. That's probably why my kid kept having diarrhea there. They have the kids eat outside by the dirty playground under a little shelter, rain, or shine. They put you on a snack schedule to provide for the entire class & tell you exactly what brand, size & shape the snacks need to be. Anything they ask you to bring, even wipes, snack bags, etc, they tell you what size, shape brand they want. They give you a schedule of all the teachers' birthday & Christmas list items. I spoke to a couple of parents there who said their kids cried for a whole year before they warmed up to the environment. Ah, that's not normal. The staff sounds friendly over the phone when you call, but in person, they're not really helpful. Run while you can.
My son has been attending learning in motion since he was 1. Two years later and he still comes home happy. Now 3, he comes home everyday learning a new word and and counts in both English and Spanish. The teachers are all loving and greet him with hugs and comfort every morning. We've been lucky enough to have the same teacher for 2 years and she works wonders!
The first review I wrote when our firstborn first entered the school. My third son is about to graduate from VPK and I am genuinely sad to leave the LIMA family. All three of my boys have been at LIMA. All 3 taken care of by Ms Cathy in the 2 years old class - she is so amazing, sees the potential in the kids (yes, he’s ready to potty train). And today, under Ms Peggy, Ms Stephanie’s guidance (and the warmth of Ms Chiladie and the other VPK teachers) LIMA is one of the best places I have ever partnered with as a parent. We simply love LiMa, and I will be popping in for a visit with the boys after the last one leaves the school. Thank you for all you do - your warmth, kindness, understanding (when we’ve raised some difficult issues), and for genuinely caring for our kids. ———- Our son was at another daycare, and we were lucky to get a spot for him at LIMA. We could not be happier. The teachers love what they do, there is so much order and the school administration is well organized. The fact that there are no TVs in the school was a wonderful surprise for us because some school use TV as a baby sitting tool. The classrooms have a well organized, predictable schedule and our son has thrived ever since being in LIMA. We receive a weekly lesson plan and a weekly newsletter to reflect back on the past week. Megan's leadership shines through and the teachers' love for what they do is also quite evident. Could not be happier to have my son here and I highly recommend it.
This school is great. My son went here when he was little we had such a good experience that we sent my daughter there over six years later. The staff is friendly and really good with the kids. My daughter can’t stop talking all about the things she has learned there.
Excelente muchísimas gracias mi hija avanzó mucho en poco tiempo!
